The Halloween that almost wasn't....

I'm grateful to say that we were able to have Halloween after the wrath of Sandy.  Last year, we did miss out on Halloween due to a freak snowstorm.  Makes me wonder what is becoming of our weather...

We started our Halloween party early, by decorating pumpkins...

Next was on to some pre-Halloween foods and snacks thanks to Karo and Pillsbury...

Finally Halloween was here and we made some cupcakes to take along to our cousins' party...

The party was a ton of fun with all of the cousins getting together to go trick-or-treating...

It was a beautiful evening, weather-wise.  The kids had a blast and filled their baskets with tons of candy.  And of course everyone enjoyed the treats we brought along!

Great photos & food! We missed Halloween this year, although we may try this evening, sigh.

About Me
I'm a stay-at-home mom of 3 year old Christopher Joseph, except for the couple nights a week I escape to work for me time :) I have a wonderful husband. I'm addicted to allrecipes and I love trying new things to cook and bake. My new obsession is mastering homemade bread, which I think I've come a long way. I'm also tackling a container garden this year, thanks to the inspiration from one of the lovely ladies on the RE. Other than that, I love to curl up with a great book (when I get the chance).
