Fudge

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
This was fabulous! I can't believe how easy it was to make. We like our chocolate dark, so I did all semi-sweet, and it's wonderful. I might just have to head to the store for every flavor of chips to try it out with them all in the future.

Andrea's Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2011
Not bad. If I were to make it a second time I'd probably only use half the amount of pasta called for, and fresh basil wouldn't hurt either. But, since it was not a hit with my children and my husband didn't get excited about it, it's going on the back burner.

Breakfast Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
This was exactly what I was looking for. I doubled the recipe except the meat since I'm not a big meat eater, and it was wonderful. The best thing about this recipe is that it is a great starter recipe - there are so many things you could change and it would still be great. I think I'll be trying it with bacon and jalapenos next.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2011
The name is a bit misleading. Or perhaps just builds up a bit much. These were not the best rolled sugar cookies I have ever made or eaten. They were okay, but I'm not ending my search here for great sugar cookies.

Pepperoncini Beef

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2010
My husband loved this served on sesame rools with cream cheese. I thought it was a little lacking, and could perhaps go for a few fresh pepperoncinis.

Sopapillas

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
My kids and I had fun making these together. Next time I'll make them a little larger, and I wouldn't recommend them warmed up the next day - but I don't know that any sopapillas are good reheated.

Garlic Herb Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
This was okay. My husband thought it was alright. I just really don't like pork, and this reminded me of that.

Jalapeno Rosemary Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
This is perfect. I threw this on some angel hair pasta with some grilled chicken and zucchini, and my kids ate it all up and loved it. Thank you! I've also used it on lasagna rolls that my husband loved.

Crispy Italian Chicken Topped with Mozzarella

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2010
This is mediocre. It was good, but not remarkable.

Meatball Nirvana

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2010
Um, I wouldn't exactly call this nirvana. They were good, and our dinner guests could taste some spice (although we could not - we take things on the SPICY side of spicy), however, they don't warrant making again.

Crustless Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
My husband loved this - and he doesn't like onions, so that's saying something. I used fresh spinach, and pepper jack cheese to give it a tiny kick. I think next time I might add a couple of peppers too since we like things spicy. This recipe is nice because it's a great base recipe that you can add easily to. But, personally, my favorite part of quiche is the crust, so it just seemed like a baked omelet to me.

Summer Bean Salsa

Reviewed: Sep. 10, 2010
I made this and couldn't stop eating it. Then morning sickness kicked in and now the thought of it makes me sick. Literally. It WAS awesome though.

Pineapple Chicken with Spaghetti

Reviewed: Apr. 12, 2007
Honestly, I don't think I'll make it again, but I still give it a few stars because: It was very easy to make - one star. The leftovers were edible enough - two more stars.

I made this as is, and I'd give it a mediocre.

Cinnamon Pumpkin Waffles

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
I had a hard time getting these to be a firm waffle-like crunch/soft texture. They were mostly floppy. They tasted fine, but my kids weren't over excited to eat them, which is surprising. I'd like to have more pumpkin in them too.

Cream Cheese Blueberry Pie

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2012
This recipe was easy enough, and tasted fine, it just wasn't super. My kids liked it, so I might make it again, but both my husband and I were a little underwhelmed. It would probably be better with a graham cracker or cookie crust.

Oatmeal Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
These were very good. My only complaint is that they're flat, and I would prefer them to be not quite so flat. Perhaps next time I'll add more oats or some flax seed to help... not sure.

Chicken and Biscuit Casserole

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
My husband loved this. I thought it was a bit on the salty side, but I just don't care for salt much, and should have used low sodium broth to begin with since I know this about myself. I also went heavy on the veggies, and soft on the chicken. Overall it was very good. And my kids (5 and 2) ate it, which is always a good thing.

Brownie Mallow Bars

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2011
Given the reviews of this being a bit on the sweet side, and the fact that I'm not an enormous fan of marshmallows, I only used half the amount, and it was perfect. I also decreased the amount of chocolate, and next time I plan on adding more cereal than called for. They were super delicious.
