This was awful. I love all the ingredients but it didn't work out together for me! The addition of the Cooking Creme is what didn't work. I followed the directions to a T.

Ice Box Fruitcake

We didn’t like it and found the consistency way too mushy and mealy. The longer it sat to blend the flavors, the mushier and mealier it became. It didn’t slice nicely to present to guests. Not a keeper for me.

Mom's Applesauce Pancakes

This was ok for me. I made it exactly according to the recipe. I had no trouble with the pancakes getting brown, the color was fine, I just didn't think the taste was anything to rave about. I have other recipes that are better so this isn't a keeper for me.

Sugarless Fruitcake

It was too mushy for my families taste buds. I can't imagine using a 20 oz can of pineapple in this as one reviewer did, I used a 15 oz and it was way to much liquid! I didn’t like the "mushy" consistency and you really couldn’t cut it in nice slices. I had to spoon it. It was not a nice presentation. I guess if you are diabetic, it would give you a taste of fruitcake if you like fruitcake but if you are not diabetic, it is terrible, both in taste and presentation. Not a keeper for me.

This is a good cookie recipe. I added 8 ounces of both dried cranberries and white chocolate chips. I think next time I'll throw in 1 cup of nuts.

Cheesy Bacon and Egg Brunch Casserole

Excellent! I used Hawaiian Bread and followed the directions just as written. I assembled it the night before and baked it off in the morning. Delicious.

Kellogg's® Rice Krispies® Wreaths

Great, just got through finishing them. I made mine smaller and got 33, which was a lot better than 12. I followed the recipe, except for using the 1/4 cup measurement as I wanted smaller wreaths. I am going to try freezing some of them to see how that turns out. I didn't have a problem but buttered my hands frequently and work fast. Toward the end, it got a little gooey.

Wheatberry Waldorf Salad

I was ready to toss this receipe as a "salad" but instead used it as a breakfast meal andit was fantastic. I made it the night before, spooned out what I wanted for breakfast in a bowl, topped it with 1 Tablespoon of brown sugar and 1 teaspoon of butter, heated it until warm and it was great. It makes a TON so I would suggest halving the recipe.

Stir Fry Turkey (Dad's Version)

This was wonderful to my surprise and such a nice change to the traditional high calorie leftover recipes. I served it over rice. The only change I made was to add cashews after plating to add some crunch. THIS IS A KEEPER.

Holiday Pumpkin Cake with Rum-Cream Cheese Glaze

I baked mine till a toothpick came out clean (60 min.) This cake wa way too dense. I followed the recipe to a T. Very disappointing. I will definitely keep the glaze recipe, it was excellent.

Pineapple Pie III

The filling for this definitely needs to be doubled. The ratio for the filling as it is is no where near enough for a 9" pie. I would also reduce the temperature as another reader suggested. I baked this at 425 and it burned. I would go to 375 as one other reviewer suggested.

Pumpkin Delight

As far as low cal, sugar-free, this is a keeper for me. I can't find that many recipes in this category that are decent and this one is easy and tasty. I made two pies as I didn't want to waste the can of pumpkin once I opened it, as there was exactly enough left to make another pie.

Corn Dog Muffins

i used jiffy mix and because of other reviwers issues with mix sticking, I used muffin liners, that worked out well but as other reviewers mentioned, they fell apart and were too crumbly. I felt the ratio of cornbread to hotdog was too high. It needed more meat. It was tasty but a nightmare to eat and serve. We ended up eating them all crumbled off the plate. I would not make this again. I rated it 2 stars only because the taste was there but presentation was not even 1 star.

Best White Icing Ever

I did not care for the shortening taste. It was creamy for me and had a nice consistency and went on well. I just prefer a more buttery taste. I won't use it again.
