Flourless Chocolate Cake II

Reviewed: Jan. 21, 2010
Perfect for the chocolate lover like me. I used a mixture of bittersweet and milk chocolate bars. I also used part splenda/sugar. I did one and a half the ingredients as I only had a 9" pan. Came out perfect! My husband couldn't get enough. Thanks.

Monkey Bread I

Reviewed: Oct. 26, 2012
Beware---Can not eat just one! This bread turned out better than the cinnabons at the mall. Absolutely addicting. Made it in a bundt pan with two packages of biscuits. Cooked for 25 minutes. Thank you, this is a hit with my family!

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
This fudge is creamy and melts in your mouth! It is more of a milk chocolate fudge which we prefer. Will definitely make again.

Classic Bran Muffins

Reviewed: Jan. 25, 2010
Best Bran Muffins! I made some changes, used coconut oil in place of veg oil, I used less brown sugar, whole wheat flour, added cinammon, applesauce, apples, bananas, and dried fruit. So moist and very tasty. Thanks!

Eggplant Parmesan II

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2010
Lots of flavor. Baking vs. frying was easier, but I did switch it to broil to make the eggplant crispy. I also added ricotta cheese. It was perfect on a snowy day like today. My husband loved it, Thanks.

So satisfying. I followed other reviewers and used about half the suggested cream cheese. I also added an apple, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Before serving I drizzled with cream and toasted coconut...YUM to say the least, thanks!

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2012
Thanks for everyone's reviews. I altered the recipe a bit. Added frozen mixed veggies, low sodium chicken broth, and cooked on Low for 4 hours. I cut the biscuits in quarters and submerged them in crockpot. Cooked on High for 2 more hours. Turned out delicious, my whole family enjoyed it. Thank you!

Creamy Hot Cocoa

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
Perfect on a wintry day! I substituted splenda for the sugar and used skinny cow skim milk, less calories, but tastes delicious. Add whip cream and mini chocolate chips and it is a hit.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
The cranberries and orange work perfectly together. I added extra juice as the batter was thick and it came out perfect. I didn't have cranberries so I used dried cranberries and they worked great, made the bread sweeter as we like.

Coconut Poke Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 20, 2010
Very Good! Using packaged cake mix, made this cake very easy to make. I used coconut oil instead of vegetable oil. I didn't have cream of coconut, so I used coconut milk. I used about half of the condensed milk, which sweetened it perfectly. Thanks for a new twist on coconut cake!

Chicken Stir-Fry

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
This recipe was very easy to follow. I did increase the soy sauce and ginger. I added honey to sweeten it up. Sesame oil works great in this recipe. I also added water chestnuts and a frozen bag of teriyaki vegetables. The extra water was not needed, a splash of chicken stock and you are set. Thanks for a healthy and delicious meal.
