Hot Sweet Onion Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2000
This is a really tasty recipe. However, I did have to keep it in the oven for longer than the time specified. You just have to watch it until it really starts to brown and bubble. I made it a second time with two cups of onions and it turned out awesome. It does not require four whole onions. I used about 2 big Vidalias and it was great! Definitely a keeper! You won't be disappointed and neither will your guests!!!! Really delicious!!!!

Baked Ziti I

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2002
This was fabulous! I used 1/2 lb ground beef and 1/2 pound pork sausage. The sauce I used was great..I used Ragu Robusto 7 herb tomato. After reading about the need for additional spices it seemed like a good choice. It worked great!!! It just fit into a 11x13 pan. Thanks for sharing!!

Slow Cooker London Broil

Reviewed: Sep. 12, 2002
Just awful...I've never had anything turn out badly in my crockpot...until now. I ended up with a briquette. Great idea in theory but london broils I guess are meant for the grill and broiler.

Praline Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2003
TO DIE FOR!!!!! And I don't like sweet potatoes! I made these for Thanksgiving and now have a double batch in the oven for Christmas tomorrow. I added some bourbon to the brown sugar mixture and it gave it a little extra ooomph. Try this try this try this! It's soooo yummy! Worth every single calorie!!!

Bacon and Date Appetizer

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2005
Very labor intensive (I put my hubby to work stuffing the dates) but so worth the trouble! Absolutely delicious! I made over 150 of these for a party and there was not a single one left. Everyone wanted the recipe. Tip: I roll mine in brown sugar, I think it adds a little something extra! YUMMY! Can't wait to try the suggestion of the thick cut deli bacon!

Bacon and Tomato Cups

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2005
The filling was delicious but the cup was WAY too doughy. I added more bacon and will use the phyllo cups next time. Can't wait to try it like that!

Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Apr. 19, 2005
Pretty good...but didn't rock my world. A lot was left uneaten at the party. I may make it again and give it another chance.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2005
This is "oh my gosh" good! We ate it cold for breakfast the next day. Anyone who doesn't love this recipe either doesn't care for corn or is impossible to please. There's NOTHING not to love!!! The only thing I would even consider changing is using one stick of butter. Two tastes fabulous but just in the interest of health. I also used low fat sour cream. Thank you SOOOOO much Ruthie! This is absolutely to die for!
