Whole Wheat Apple Muffins

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2010
I've been trying to drop the last of my baby weight this month and so I've been cooking more healthy snacks and meals. And I have learned that there are lot's of amazing, flavorful recipes that don't involve a lot of fat and sugar. This is NOT one of those recipes. Skip this one.

Creamy Homemade Chicken Stew

Reviewed: Nov. 11, 2009
I saw on other's reviews that the sauce didn't really turn out. Somehow I thought this wouldn't happen to me. I followed the directions perfectly, but the milk separated and now it's a big mess. I might try to wash everything and make a sauce and another user suggested, but I still would not recommend this one.

Chicken Tagine

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
This was a hit. I liked it a lot, but my husband flipped over it. And it made our house smell amazing =) I cut the recipe in half, but otherwise kept it the same.

Indian Chicken Curry II

Reviewed: Jan. 27, 2009
My husband actually made this for me. We wanted to experiment with something Indian and this was exactly what we had in mind. Wasn't too hard to make (especially for me) and it tasted great. The leftovers are already history.

Lower Fat Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2008
I really loved this recipe. So simple and so good. And my daughter loves it too. I should mention I used whole wheat flour and added 1/2 a bag of chocolate chips (my mother-in-laws trick). I figured both of those things cancel eachother out on the health v. taste frontier.

Great dip. My guests devoured all of it! I doubled the cream cheese as most people suggested.

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Easily the best lasagna I've ever made. I had too much sauce, but I just froze it and used it for a spaghetti sauce another night.

Parker's Famous Margaritas

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2007
Really simple and really good! It is a bit strong, but that's not necessarily a bad thing, right? I made a batch to have with our dinner tonight and afterward, my husband asked me to make another.

Santa Fe Soup

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
Super easy and quick. I really liked it, but my husband wasn't wild about it. I think I will try it with real cheddar next time and some taco seasoning too.

Vodka Pasta a la Guido

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
I do a very similar version of this recipe. All same ingredients, but varying amounts. One difference is that I serve mine with fresh chives - heaven!

Rosemary Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 10, 2007
This just didn't work out for me at all. I sauteed the onions first like some people said, but there was just too much onion and it just didn't work. My husband was okay with it, but I won't make it again. I'm still looking for a great rosemary chix recipe...
