Clone of a Cinnabon

Reviewed: Oct. 3, 2010
I shared this recipe with a friend. While her kids were at school, we made them. When we got home they had one for a snack, and her youngest exclaimed, "THEY TASTE JUST LIKE THE ONES AT THE MALL!!!!" These are AMAZING, and you will never use another cinnamon roll recipe again.

Chocolate Pudding Cake II

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
I wanted to try something different and this delivers! Its a yummy recipe, however.... I didn't care for it AT ALL hot/warm.. even though I knew there weren't eggs in the "raw" batter, I couldn't eat it. It just wasn't right.. So I put it in the fridge hoping that it would be better cold. The next morning, I took a little bite, and MUCH BETTER! I love the pudding part of it, and now I need to seek out a chocolate pudding recipe so I can have more!

Chocolate Fudge Cookies

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
WOW! I made mine with BettyC's Milk Chocolate cake mix and omitted the chocolate chips. These are fantastic! The perfect mix between a cookie and a uber chewy, gooey brownie. I baked mine 10 minutes and let them sit on the UNgreased cookie sheet for about 30 minutes. They came off perfectly and were so good! Thanks!

Gnocchi I

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
I made these using left over mashed potatoes from Thanksgiving, reduced the amount of flour to 1 1/2 c as other users reported dry dough. Turned out great and they are yummy!! My 2 yr old scarfed them down, the hubby and I are going to be adding the rest to our turkey soup for dinner tonight. Thanks for a great recipe!

Butter Cream Frosting I

Reviewed: Oct. 14, 2009
This frosting is fantastic! I was pleased with the texture and thickness I achieved. I was 1C short on powdered sugar, but 3 c was plenty. Its very sweet. I did use 1 whole egg vs the 2 yolks. Other than those changes, I followed the recipe exactly. Thanks for a great frosting recipe!

!!!F*A*N*T*A*S*T*I*C!!! I will never buy Hershey's again!!! This is the perfect thickness and flavor. I did use 1c milk instead of water, simmered for 1 min. I added it to a tall, cold glass of milk while still hot, and its soooooooo yummy! Thanks for a great recipe!

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
This is a wonderful quick-to-make bread. I am serving it for Christmas tomorrow, and so far all of my family have commented on how great it smells! I did make a few changes.... 1: instead of margerine I used regular butter. 2: instead of fresh cranberries I used craisins. (sweetened dried cranberries) 3: I didnt have a fresh orange to zest, so I used a tsp of orange extract. I baked it in a glass loaf pan, and it was done 10 minutes sooner than the recipe said. I think that may be why some reviewers got a dry, crumbly, hard loaf. I will make a glaze with OJ, vanilla and powdered sugar to drizzle over the top when serving. Thanks for a great, quick n easy recipe!!!!

Polynesian Sausage Supper

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
I love this dish! Super simple and packs a huge flavor punch! We eat it over rice. The kids love it. Edit: Since writing my first review I have changed the recipe for my family a little. No bell pepper and no tomatoes. We eat this on a weekly basis. :0) Thanks for a great FAST recipe!

Quick Gnocchi

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
I have never had traditional gnocchi, so I have nothing to compare it against, but my family thought these were delish!!! My 1yr old daughter DEVOURED them! I made a tomato sauce to lightly coat, it was perfect with a side salad for a light dinner.

Chicken I Hate You!

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
I love this recipe! I only changed a few basic things. I used Alfredo sauce from a powder mix. (Oregon Spice Co.) I also used fresh cremini mushrooms and fresh asparagus. Yummy-yummy. We changed the name in our house though, it didnt sound right coming out of my 5yr olds mouth. :|

Banana Bread - Quick Bread for Machines

Reviewed: Mar. 26, 2007
this recipe is delicious. I did change one thing, because i didnt have white sugar i used light brown sugar and it turned out perfect. I did add a small hand full of nuts as well. I was unsure about adding the banana in big chunks, but they did mash in completely. I will definately make this recipe again. Big hit with my hubby and 4yr old =) EDIT: I now make this bread once a week. My 1 yr old daughter totally devours this bread! I changed the recipe a little over the years. I add 1/4tsp pumpkin pie spice, 3 bananas 3 eggs and cook 30 minutes longer. Comes out super moist every time!
