Rhubarb Stir Cake

Reviewed: Aug. 8, 2012
This was a good one mostly because it was sooo easy and you didn't need to get out your beaters. :) I would definitely use about 1/3 cup of white sugar in the batter too - mine was just a tad too tart for my taste, but still good. Extremely moist. Extremely easy.

Summer Garden Pasta

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2011
I think this was the most enjoyable meal I've ever made and I consider myself a great cook. It was just so gourmet smelling and tasting - had so much flavor and color. But it was quite easy! It was absolutely mouth wateringly delicious! My whole family of 6, ages parents to 10 months old gobbled it up. I will definitely be making this again very soon.

Classic Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 31, 2011
This was very good. I only used 1/4 cup of sugar though and it still turned out delicious. I didn't have any carrots and so obviously left that out but it was still very delicious. And I also added 6 hard boiled eggs.

Playgroup Granola Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
I would not change this recipe in the least! I made a double batch and I believe this made them thicker than just a single batch would. They are perfect - absolutely delicious! I can't wait to share them with my coffee/tea time girls! :)

Pumpkin Gingerbread

Reviewed: Nov. 29, 2010
This was the perfect pumpkin bread ever - and oh so moist! It has so much spice in it and is heavy and dessert-like without being too sweet! I will continue to make this every Thanksgiving, but the spiciness will be perfect to make for Christmas morning and Christmas dinners too! Five starts all the way!

Vegetable Beef Soup II

Reviewed: Sep. 27, 2010
Here are the changes I make with this recipe besides adding minced garlic with the onion when I brown the meat and I add crushed red pepper for a little kick, is not using potatoes. I boil bow-tie pasta separately after it's all done and add a scoop to everyone's individual servings - that way there's no gummy pasta. This is a great recipe. Serve with bread and salad! Also very good using stew beef - Makes it so you don't really have to drain the fat.

Ground Turkey Casserole

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2010
This recipe is easy and very versatile in my opinion. I did add onions and garlic when I browned the turkey. I also used a 24 oz. can of tomato sauce and a 10 oz. can of Ro-Tel which I thought added a lot of flavor. I used elbow macaroni instead of noodles because I thought it would be easier for my kids who are all 4 and under. I would recommend not cooking the noodles all the way because they came out a bit too soggy for my families liking. I also mixed the macaroni with the meat mixture like others had mentioned. This is definitely a quick and easy one! Try it!

Quick Alfredo Sauce

This was easy - a little thick though so next time I would want to work on that. Very quick, easy and good though.

Peanut Butter Milk Shakes

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2010
CHILL THE GLASSES AHEAD OF TIME and DO NOT use natural peanutbutter - it's too nutty and not desserty enough.

Chicken Casserole Mississippi

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
Excellent! Our two picky eaters were even fans of this recipe! I would recommend adding more crackers, butter and sour cream to make a little more crust, because it didn't completely cover the top, but it was fantastic, and I have my husband's permission to add it to his list of fav's!

Best Ever Banana Bread

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
This was absolutely wonderful. With three small children, banana bread is a staple for snack time for our family. I will never use another banana bread recipe again. The buttermilk is for sure what makes this recipe so moist. I am going to have buttermilk on hand all of the time. For sure! My husband, who is never a fan of banana bread said that when I made this recipe, it was the best ever, and actually asked for a second piece! :)
