My name is Bob, I'm 40 something and live in the South England with my wife and currently 6 ferrets.
I was taught to cook by my mother from my early teens,using food colouring to keep my interest(green & red omelet is a clear memory!), and have continued ever since.
Anyone looking in the kitchen cupboards will have trouble finding preprepared / microwave food, they will however find a good selection of chillies dried whole, ground, and in a sauce, this is a mainly vegetarian house with a chilli head in charge of cooking ;-)

Vegetarian versions of Mexican / Asian meals, or a combination of side dishes served as the main course.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I can't think of a traditional family meal, the last two Christmas day meals have been a tortilla stack with the side dishes that are too time consuming to make for a normal meal. Sunday's I'd rather be out doing than cooking a full roast.
