Kitchen Sink Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2011
These cookies are awesome!! I made 2 changes, I left out the vanilla chips, because I don't like them, and I chilled the dough overnight before baking. The reason I gave it 4 stars, was because I think with the vanilla chips they would've been too sweet for my taste. But leaving them out, they were awesome!!

Chocolate Chip Kiss Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
Have made these twice and both time they got rave reviews!! I use dark chocolate kisses instead of regular milk chocolate. 2nd time I also did part of them with Reese's cups. I cup the mini Reese's in half and put a half in the middle of each cookie. Worked great!!

Apple Ladybug Treats

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
Very cute recipe. I used natural peanut butter, which at room temperature can be a bit runny. So refrigerating the peanut butter might be a good idea. I also had a hard time getting the pretzels in the apples without breaking them. So I used a a chop stick to "pre-poke" the hole and that seemed to work well.

Seven Layer Taco Dip

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
This is a great recipe and very versatile, it can easily be changed to suit your taste. Based on other reviews that said the beans were a little thing, I doubled the beans & taco seasoning layer. I also changed up the veggie layer, I just put green onions and black beans on top of the salsa, but that's just our household's personal taste. Overall a really great base recipe.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2011
This recipes does NOT work with natural peanut butter, which I used. It comes out thick and oily. It might be fine with "regular" processed peanut butter, don't know.

Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 13, 2007
I made these and they were a big hit!! The people at the party I took them to claimed I had put an addictive substance in them :-) I used packed dark brown sugar instead of white, I used 1 cup of pumpkin instead of 3/4 cup, and I doubled the cinnamon and nutmeg. I also made them into mini muffins, so I used mini chocolate chips. cooking the minis for 15 minutes worked well.

I made this for a few friends and it was great!! I did add a teaspoon of cinnamon and a teaspoon of vanilla to enhance the flavor. I will definitely be making this again!
