Zucchini Brownies

Reviewed: Mar. 24, 2007
Im always looking for a more nutritional way to feed my family. Especially when we are craving chocolate. I came across this fabulous recipe and thought, weird, but why not. We LOVE zucchini! All I have to say is WOW. Excellent!!! I changed a few things. I used canola oil instead, unbleached flour, omitted the nuts and added about 2 tbls of water. They looked like boxed brownies when done, and were DEVOURED quickly. One question... how do I check the nutritional value of this recipe? Is it any better for you than ordinary brownies?

Real Philly CheeseSteak Sandwich

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
Very GOOD! Changed it up, a little. Added butter, lemon juice to the olive oil, sauted white onion, fresh minced garlic, marjoram, salt/pepper and fresh mushrooms. Sliced and buttered the rolls, grilled them first. Then I prepared the thinly sliced round steaks, by sprinkling them with garlic salt and pepper on each side, before slicing the steaks into small strips. Then I grilled on electric griddle, as instructed. Topped with provolone cheese. OMG. Yum. I will make this again.

Five Flavor Pound Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2011
This is very good! Changed only a few things, I used an angel food pan and omitted the coconut extract, (I'm allergic). It cooked beautifully, made the house smell wonderful and removed from pan without any trouble. On top of glaze I added dusting of powdered sugar and maraschino cherries. It worked beautifully for my sons 19th birthday! Thanks for posting this recipe!

LOVE! Only thing I changed, omitted the peppers, used fresh cilantro over the top. This is wonderful, easy and tastes like it came from a restaurant. Fantastic recipe!

Fresh Southern Peach Cobbler

Delicious. Served this decadent dessert with homemade vanilla ice cream while it was still warm. Brought me right back to childhood. I'd submit a picture, but it got eaten too quick! Life is good.

AMAZING! I changed it up only a little bit. Instead of powdered garlic I sauteed minced garlic with the white onion. I added a sprinkle of garlic salt after chilled. YUM YUM YUM. I will never buy premade dip again.

Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes with Ham

Reviewed: Apr. 18, 2009
Yummy. Many different steps to prepare it, but worth it. The recipe called for minced onion and garlic powder. I changed that to sauteed yellow onion in butter, with fresh garlic. I think that makes it taste more, authentic. An added bonus, the house smells great!
