I agree with italiangirl that this needs less water - you just need to cut the heat when you put in the cornmeal. I took it a step further and put in about an eighth cup chopped up sundried tomato and about 3 TBSP prepared jar pesto. (I got the cheap stuff for $2.00 at Wally World). Some people may need salt, but it tasted just fine. Turned it our into an 8x8 pan to cool so it would have some shape. I was trying to come up with a way to make it into a tube (cylinder), similar to what is sold in the store, but nothing really fit the bill.

Blueberry Monkey Bread

This is GREAT!! You have to make sure you use ALL the sugar/cinnamon mix. Do not make this in advance or you will have a nasty mess on your hands. I tried to make this the night before and I had solidified dough in sugar water. This HAS to be made fresh. If you like blueberries, you will LOVE this.

After-Thanksgiving Turkey Soup

Great soup. I add the remainder of the gravy I made from the drippings to the soup so nothing gets wasted.

Roast Sticky Chicken-Rotisserie Style

This was great!! Everybody loved it. Scarfed it down. Salty, though. Need to cut that in half. Not sticky either. I also didn't have 4 hours to wait, so I cooked it the normal way - 375 uncovered for 2 hours. Nice crispy skin. The results of this recipe probably depends on the chicken you get. I got the two pack of Perdue birds from Sam's Club - cheap enough to try out recipes on without going broke if it's bad.
