Chicken Pot Pie IX
Excellent. Easier and faster method: Boil the chicken in broth and drain all except for 3/4 cup. I used leftover veggies frozen and refrigerated, and threw them into one pot and sauteed all at once, omitting the second step with the flour. Stirred the 2/3 cup milk with one can of condensed cream of mushroom instead. Used garlic salt instead of celery seed. Lined a square baking dish with store bought pie pastry vs. pie plates to avoid spillage. Baked at 375 for 50 minutes as 425 seemed too high. Turned out not too runny and not too dry, just right. My husband hates chicken pot pie and loved this one!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast
This has to be the BEST recipe on this site. I own over 100 cookbooks and try not to cook the same thing twice. This recipe has been a lifesaver on those days I want something very good and easy. Add a cup of beer instead of the water to tenderize further, then throw in vegetables of your choice at the last hour. It turns out perfect every single time -- 100 pct fail proof! The best!

Arabic Green Beans with Beef
This was simply beef and green beans with tomato sauce. I doubled the allspice, added garlic, pepper and served over rice. Still ended up with the same bland dish, beef+green beans+tomato sauce. Very disappointing.
