Bow Ties with Sausage, Tomatoes and Cream

Reviewed: Sep. 18, 2011
One of our favorites right now!!! I did half the tomatoes because we are not huge tomato fans but I also added some spinach, roasted red peppers and sun dried tomatoes.

Very yummy!!! Did half brown sugar and half white. Also added chocolate chips and pecans. Mine only needed 10 min in my oven. The kids love them!

Banana Pancakes I

These are great!!! I substituted all whole wheat flour and added a splash of vanilla and a little cinnamon. I think they'd be awesome with some chopped up walnuts or pecans as well!

Salsa Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
One of my absolute favorite go to meals now. I made this a couple of months ago and have probably made it 3 or 4 times since. I use my own homemade salsa. This is so super easy and you can't go wrong, yum!! We have spanish rice and corn on the side.

Chocolate Crinkles II

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Very yummy and easy. Followed the recipe exactly except I put the dough in the freezer for 45 min so I didn't have to wait the 4 hours. Like a cross between a brownie and a cookie, might try to add some chocolate chips next time.

Southwest White Chicken Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2011
Yummy!!! I used a cut up rotisserie chicken to save time. I also used chicken broth instead of the water. We added a little bit of shredded cheddar cheese and sour cream on top, delicious! Will definitely make this again!!

Cinnamon Raisin Biscuits

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2011
4 stars because I altered it a bit. Tripled the amount of cinnamon, doubled the sugar, had to add a little bit more milk. Dropped the biscuits rather than cutting them out. Very yummy, not quite like my old Hardee's favorite biscuits but definitely fixed my craving :)

Boneless Buffalo Wings

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
These were great!! I would imagine fried they are even better but I did bake them to make them a little healthier :) I followed the recipe exactly and then baked them at 400 degrees for about 45 min. I used bone in wings because we like those better. I also dipped a few of them in bbq sauce and a few in teriyaki. So yummy!!

Pumpkin Waffles with Apple Cider Syrup

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
I am rating only the Apple Cider Syrup! So good and so simple to make. I made Pumpkin Pancakes from this site as I wanted pancakes instead of waffles. Will definitely be making this again!!

Pumpkin Pancakes

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2010
Really yummy, I made this more simple by substituting pumpkin pie mix from the can in place of the pumpkin, spices and sugar. Very yummy with the apple cider syrup from this site that is listed as Pumpkin Waffles with Apple Cider Syrup.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Really yummy!!! I browned mine outside on the grill and then followed the recipe. Might add a bit of cornstarch or flour next time to thicken up the gravy but really flavorful and tender!!

Apple Pie Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 19, 2010
These were great!!! Definitely the most beautiful muffins I've ever made! I had to substitute milk for buttermilk bcause that's what I had. I did put cinnamon in the batter just because we love cinnamon and I'll probably use even more next time!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 6, 2010
Best homemade muffins I've ever made!!! Used closer to about 1 1/2 cups of blueberries because I like more blueberries. I would probably cut the the amount of flour in the topping in half, too much of a flour taste for me. I also used brown sugar in the topping instead of white. Delicious! Can't wait to try other fruits or choc chips... Update 8/12/11 made these with whole wheat flour and fresh strawberries instead of blueberries and they were still amazing!! This is my go to recipe for all muffins now :) They are great with or without the topping too!

Chocolate Chip Pie I

Reviewed: Aug. 26, 2010
This pie was great!! I followed some of the other reviewer suggestions and only used 3/4 cup butter and a deep dish pie pan. Really simple to make as I used store bought pie crust. I also sprinkled a handful of chips on top with about 15 min baking time left. Definitely will make this one again!! Oh I also didn't use any nuts this time but I'm sure it will be great with either pecans or walnuts!
