French Baguettes

Reviewed: Sep. 26, 2011
I don't know why I waited so long before trying this recipe! I guess I was intimidated, but it proved to be a very easy recipe to make. I let the dough rise in the bowl for only about 15 minutes before realizing that it had already risen in the bread machine. So, I went ahead and made the loaves, then covered and let rise about 45 minutes. I didn't do the egg/water wash. Intead I put a small bowl of water in the oven and misted the bread about 4 times within the first 10 minutes of baking. This bread had a crunchy crust and a soft center. Perfection!

Pineapple Banana Bread

Reviewed: Sep. 23, 2011
Yum! I made this yesterday and it turned out really good. I can't say that I could actually taste the pineapple in the bread. That being said, it was still yummy and I'll make it again.

Bread Machine Focaccia

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2011
Four of us ate the whole thing with our spaghetti last night! I made the recipe as recommended except that on the top I brushed with olive oil and sprinkled with italian seasoning and parmesan cheese. This was also really easy to make!

Cookie Dough for Ice Cream (Eggless)

Reviewed: Jul. 14, 2011
I followed the recommendations of GingerB ( 5 TBS BROWN SUGAR, 6 TBS SUGAR, 4 TBS BUTTER SOFTENED, 1 TEAS VANILLA, 3 TBS WHOLE MILK, 1 CUP FLOUR, 1/2 TEAS SALT, 1/2 CUP MINI CHOC CHIPS) and these turned out phenominal! The kids LOVED them, and ate most of them before we put them in our homemade vanilla ice cream. I will definitely make this again, maybe even keep some on hand in the freezer for a quick sweet fix :)

Italian Pasta Salad I

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
My SIL brought this pasta salad to dinner the other night and I LOVED it! She added small circles of pepperoni which I really liked in it. I think what makes this recipe so great is the combination of italian and creamy ceasar dressings. I will definitely make this and simply use whatever veggies I have on hand.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2011
This recipe is truly phenominal! I marinaded for probably 6 hours before grilling. Everyone raved about these kabobs, and asked for the recipe after they were served. I can't believe it took me so long to try these, but now that I have they will be on the dinner rotation all summer long!

Blueberry Crumb Bars

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
I love to bake, therefore bake all the birthday treats at the office. I planned to make an angel food cake which turned into a disaster! Well I used the ingredient search to find something to make with what I had on hand and this came up. I cut everything in half and baked in an 8x8 pan. Absolutely amazing! I used shortening as stated and did half white sugar and half brown sugar. My blueberries were frozen (but they were fresh ones I bought and froze, not the storebought bag of frozen) and I didn't wait for them to thaw. It came out perfect!

Delish! I ended up with 20 rolls and ended up letting them rise about an hour. They baked for about 20 minutes...perfect!

Todd's Famous Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2011
These were off the charts! I used fresh blueberries instead of frozen and used oil instead of butter. I also did not let them sit an hour. They were perfect. My husband who doesn't ever eat any sweets for breakfast ate two! I ended up having to make a second batch after the first was gobbled up with none left for me.

I thought this had great flavor but it had WAY too many noodles for our taste. Next time I'll make it with half the amount of noodles.

Holiday "Leftovers" Casserole

Reviewed: Feb. 5, 2011
This was a great way to used my leftover turkey and mashed potatoes. I added the leftover peas and green beans instead of frozen vegetables, and didn't put any of the french fried onions in with the mashed potatoes simply because I was finished assembling it before I noticed that I forgot that step. Yumm!

Southern Style Thanksgiving Green Beans

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2011
I made these for Christmas dinner and I loved them. I used 4 lbs frozen italian cut greem beans and only used about 3/4 of the vinegar called for. I put all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cooked on high for about 3 hours, then reduced to low for about 3 hours. My fiance and I loved them, the kids didn't like them at all.

I followed this recipe exactly as written for Christmas dinner and it was good. I will surely keep this in my recipe box for when I need an easy bread machine recipe. I wasn't overly blown away by it but it must have been good, there was none left after dinner!
