Country Fried Steak and Milk Gravy

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2008
This recipe tasted like good ole country cooking! Don't over cook the cube steak when frying or it will be chewey. The ony complaint is that it did not produce much milk gravy, but I think I would add more milk next time..overall good dish.

Authentic, No Shortcuts, Louisiana Red Beans and Rice

Reviewed: Jul. 22, 2008
I live in Louisiana and have never attempted to make red beans..this recipe tasted so good and just like all the red bean recipes here in Louisiana! Next time I would cut the water back to 9 cups, it was a little thin but the next day it thickened up. I also would not cook te sausage ahead of time and just put in the crock pot and it will cook up in there. I added just a little cajun seasoning for an extra kick! Thanks for the great recipe I will be making for years to come!

Maple-Glazed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2007
I followed the recipe exactly and I did not care at all for this recipe! The glaze was SUPER sticky and I didn't find it to have the amount of flavor as I thought it would. I will definately not make these again!

Burgundy Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Jun. 20, 2007
My husband absolutely loved this dish! I switched the brown gravy mix to onion soup mix and instead of 2 cups of wine I used 1 and 1 cup of water. I used real garlic instead of powder and green onions in place of celery! Very tasty! The only thing I would do differently is cut back on the wine, I found it to be overpowering, but my husband raved about it! Thanks for sharing!

Louisiana Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2007
This was my first attempt at crab dip and I have to say it was a complete success!! I made it for Father's Day and everyone ate and ate and I came home with none! I am from Louisiana and I found this not to be spicy at all and I would probably add some cayenne pepper next time. I added some sharp cheddar cheese, but it didn't need it. Overall very good recipe and will make for many more occasions! Thanks!

Death by Chocolate

This dessert was AWESOME! I did make a few changes..I used devil's food cake as suggested and used hot fudge in place of the coffee and used crused oreo cookies and chocolate bar shavings instead of toffee bars. Oh this was soooo good!! I will definately make over and over, thanks for the recipe my family just gobbled it up!

This chicken was very moist and tasty! The only thing I would do different is cut down on teriyaki sauce, it was a little over powering, but overall a good dish and will make again!

Fluffy French Toast

Reviewed: Jun. 10, 2007
This french toast was very delicious!! The only thing I would do different would be if your using regular white bread, make sure you don't soak the bread in the batter to long because it gets a little soggy and I would also add a little more cinnamon! Very good though and I got great comments from my husband..he loved it! Thanks for sharing!
