Triple-Cheese Macaroni

Reviewed: Oct. 17, 2007
This was a huge hit at my house. The recipe made more than my casserole dish could fit, so I froze half of it. It came out okay from the freezer, a little dry, but that is to be expected when you freeze pasta. I will definitely make this again!

Chicken Marinade

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2009
Okay, so I forgot to add the garlic to the marinade, lol. I did put in some garlic powder last minute. The marinade was absolutely delicious on some chicken thighs that I baked in the oven.

Gorgonzola Dip

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
This is one of the best dips I have ever made! I served it in a bread bowl with a side of green onions, celery and pita chips. I used about 3 oz of gorgonzola and that was plenty. Also, I used dried dill and cut the amount in half from the fresh. I am making this again tonight!

I brought this to a Memorial Day weekend party and everyone loved it! On the advice of another reviewer, I added some cayenne and cumin powder. Yummy!

Basil Shrimp

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2010
This recipe was great as written. However, I did not add the butter to the marinade. I did saute instead of grill and melted butter in the pan before adding the seafood. Also, I used half shrimp and half bay scallops. I would recommend just the shrimp. Delish! I will use this recipe again.

Moose Marinade

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2009
We used this marinade for venison ribs. They marinated overnight and were smoked all day the next day. Burgundy wine is really inexpensive and therefore good to use in a marinade. On other's advice I cut down on the wine and added some water.

Potato and Bean Enchiladas

Reviewed: Oct. 30, 2010
These were wonderful. I multiplied this recipe multiple times over to uses 5 lbs of potatoes and I gave many trays away to friends and family. These can be a bit dry, so I would make extra tomatillo sauce next time.

Tzatziki Sauce I

Reviewed: Apr. 23, 2013
I add a finely chopped/seeded cucumber to this. A Greek told me it tastes very close to the tzatziki his mother makes, she uses mint instead of dill. Excellent recipe.

Terrific Trail Mix

How can you go wrong with trail mix? I added some toffee chips and pecans. Yummy! Good to eat at all those softball games.

Crunchy Cheddar Chicken from Hidden Valley®

Reviewed: Mar. 5, 2014
Very easy and very good. What more could you ask for? I served with steamed broccoli drizzled with blood orange olive oil and sprinkled with sliced almonds. Really good way to use up the end of the corn flakes box.

Old Fashioned Potato Salad

Reviewed: May 9, 2008
This was delicious and easy to make. I got rave reviews at a tailgate party! On the advice of another reviewer I added some milk to the mayo and a couple tablespoons of sugar to take the bite out of the salad. I searched all over for this recipe, when I think of potato salad, this is the one I picture.

Cola-Brined Chicken Wings

Reviewed: Feb. 7, 2011
This was very delicious. I liked the rub a lot. I used a Slovenian soda called Cockta, which is a citrusy cola. You can get it at specialty liquor stores.

These were a big kid with all the kids at a recent BBQ. Not too difficult to make, I did skip the scarf, though.

Awesome! The only thing I did differently was added some parmesan to the mozzarella for the topping. Will certainly make this again.

Pollo Bella

Reviewed: Aug. 31, 2009
Very good! lots of flavor! I did 1/2 the amount of chicken and it was plenty. I can see how some fresh parsley may add color to this monochrome dish, though. I'd definitely make this again. served with bruschetta and a kale dish.

Fiery Fish Tacos with Crunchy Corn Salsa

Reviewed: May 9, 2007
We had a lot of fun with this recipe. I only put in 2/3 of the cayenne that the recipe called for and that was more than plenty. Was is it about grilling fish that is so much fun?

Butter Bean Burgers

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2008
Very good. On the advice of other reviewers I used red bell pepper (no jalapenos bc of the salmonella scare) and I refrigerated and dredged in cornmeal before frying. I actually doubled the recipe, but we each ate 1 of these and were completely full. This is a great recipe for chefs on a budget.
