Homemade Shake and Bake Mixture

This was great! I did not add the shallots, sugar, or tequila, and I used cilantro instead of oregano. I took another reviewer's advice and cooked the fish in the marinade. I did not line the pan with tin foil. Excellent!

I followed someone's advice to include onion soup mix, and I wish I hadn't. It was too salty and too oniony. Even so, these were good, and I give them a 5 based on the original recipe. The sauce was great.

Curried Beef a la Tim

This was excellent, but I did make a few minor changes. I used 1/2 can tomato sauce instead of the tomato paste. I had to simmer the dish for almost 2 hours to get the beef tender. As the dish would dry out, I kept adding water. I also used 2 1/2 tsp curry powder, 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp turmeric and some carrots. Excellent! I will make this again.

Heavenly Halibut

My husband really enjoyed this dish. I just brushed the butter on the fish, then sprinkled the lemon juice and spices on top. I baked it in the oven for 20 minutes. Really good!
