Cola Pot Roast I

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2014
Too sweet for my taste. Not sure what I was expecting from the ingredients, but it wasn't this sweet gravy.

Spinach Quiche

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2011
Fabulous recipe and a nice change from the mozzarella and ricotta spinach quiche recipe I usually prepare. After reading other reviews I decided to saute the green onions and a couple of cloves of garlic and then added the drained spinach and continued to saute. I added the rest of the ingredients with a bit of salt and pepper and baked. I did make a lowfat version though. I used low fat cottage cheese; low fat sharp cheddar, and egg substitutes. It drastically changed the nutritional facts. Calories: 130; Total Fat: 4.3g; Total Carbs: 4.5g; Protein: 18g. This recipe is a keeper! Thanks for posting!!!

Aaron's Missouri Burger

I followed the recipe exactly and was not impressed....it was just okay. And, I'm glad I was not using an outdoor grill, because like others, mine also fell apart....

Peachy Bread Pudding with Caramel Sauce

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2010
Excellent! This was a big hit on Thanksgiving Day. I incorporated many of the suggestions made on this recipe. I added an additional cup of peaches (canned); added an additional cup of bread; used challah bread; and substituted some of the peach juice for the water. I also made one and a half recipes and found that doing so filled a 9 x 13 pan. Thanks for posting this recipe....it is delicious, especially with the caramel sauce!

Pasta Fagioli

Reviewed: Oct. 24, 2010
Exceptional! I've been preparing pasta fagioli my whole life, but this beats my recipe! Deelish and less clean up by cooking the pasta in the sauce. My only changes ~ I substituted basil for the Italian seasoning and I omitted the celery. I've passed this recipe on to friends and family...

Lasagna Alfredo

Delicious.....but the calorie count for a portion is more than half of one's daily intake. Will try to 'healthify' it.

Awesome and Easy Creamy Corn Casserole

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2009
I've been preparing this for many years. I would not call it a casserole....it is a cornbread. It is cut into squares and is solid enough to hold in your hand and munch away. It's simple to prepare and a true crowd pleaser. Making a double recipe for the holiday.

Slow Cooker Turkey Breast

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
Easy and tasty! Be sure to not over cook it... I cooked for one hour on high and then turned to low for 5.5 hours and it was juicy and moist. Will make this again!

Super Easy Slow Cooker Chicken

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2009
I followed the recipe exactly and found it lacked flavor. So, I added 8 oz. of reduced fat Velveeta cheese and tada...it gave it the added flavor I felt it needed.

Chicken Breast Stuffed with Spinach Blue Cheese and Bacon

Reviewed: Nov. 18, 2008
Good recipe...I sauted onions and garlic and added to the spinach and cheese mixture. I too did not flour and brown. I seasoned the chicken with salt and pepper, added the spinach/cheese mixture (I used feta), folded over and baked 15 minutes covered and an additional 20 minutes uncovered. It's deelish but needs a sauce. I used the pan drippings and created a tastey sauce.
