Herb Roasted Pork

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2007
Amazing!!! My hubby raved about this! The whole family loved it. The only thing I did different was cook it in a slow cooker for about 8 hours. Put the glaze on with about 3 hours left. Delish!!!

Black Forest Cake II

Reviewed: Nov. 19, 2007
Delicious!!! Doubled the butter for the icing, and added extra coffee. Would probably use cherry pie filling next time to save the extra work. And covering the sides of the cake with chocolate curls/shaving was time consuming and a pain, probably just do the top next time.

Morning Glory Muffins I

Reviewed: Apr. 24, 2012
Sooo yum! Maybe my new fave!!! Doubled recipe made 12 large, and 48 minis. My changes for double: subed br sugar, used all ww flour, used less oil, 1.5 cups applesauce (for 1 c apple butter), added 1 cup 9-grain, and extra flax seeds, skipped topping, and used food processor to chop apple & carrots. (seems like a lot of changes, but I change these on all recipes!)

Fresh Tomato Salsa

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
YUMMY!!! Big hit w/ the Dangs. Added lots of garlic, lemon juice, hot sauce (made a BIG batch-used 4 peppers and it wasn't spicy enough) and balsamic vinegar. Used food processor for most of the tomatoes, etc, then hand chopped a few toms for bigger chunks. Very tasty!

Umm, YUM!!! So tasty and easy! Needed a little extra buttermilk. Didn't knead or roll out, just stirred together and formed on the pan. Definite family hit.

Basic Crepes

Reviewed: Jan. 20, 2012
Soooo Yummy!!! Quadrupled the recipe, and have about 12 left (but our biggest eater was getting over being sick, so couldn't eat much) Took about 1.5 hours to cook them in 2 pans. Added vanilla and a few Tbsp. sugar (not necessary, but tasty)

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
Very tasty! Substituted 3/4 WW flour, 1/2 applesauce for oil, some egg whites for egg, 3/4 brown sugar. Added flax (ground & whole), sunflower seeds, raisins and pumpkin seeds on the top. Doubled recipe and made my 3 lg loaf pans, but over filled them--which made a mess of the oven and super smoky house. Also they took so long to cook all the way thru. Don't over fill next time! But so yummy!!! Big hit!

Grilled Rock Lobster Tails

Reviewed: Jul. 8, 2011
Yummy! Somehow I was surprised, that they were so good, never having made them myself. Used chopped garlic, instead of powder. The East Coast Canadian lobster was yummier than the warm water ones.

Easy Focaccia

Reviewed: Oct. 11, 2008
A Big Hit with the Family!!! Added some basil, oregano and garlic to the dough. Made in breadmaker on dough cycle. Had to add about 1/2c more flour. Quickly formed into a flattened ball, stretched and flattened it on an oiled pan (my Wilton cookies sheet). Then put on some rosemary, salt and parm.
