Spiderweb Brownies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
The brownies were a little too fudge-like for my taste, and too sticky with all that marshmallow on top. Good in idea, tastes okay, but not very practical.

Pork Chops in Red Sauce

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
This recipe was too bland, and my family didn't like the blend of tomatoes and pork.

Oatmeal Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
These were really tasty, but a little too thin and crispy for me. I like my cookies thick and soft, so next time I make them, I will probably substitute the baking soda for baking powder, and add more oats. I love oatmeal!

No Bake Choco-Peanut-Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Tasty, my husband always takes a batch to work, and never comes home with leftovers! I always have to add more rolled oats, because when I follow the recipe, it is too runny. Other than that, it tastes great!

Wanda's Chicken Noodle Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
This was good, but when I made it I used canned chicken... which was horrible! That's what I get for being lazy! Next time I make it, I will use fresh, rather than canned, vegetables. I will use fresh chicken! And I will add potatoes. We are big on potatoes in my family. Instead of dry bread crumbs--which are kind of boring--we are going to use French fried onions... Yummy!

Braised Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
This was delicious. I didn't have onion powder, so I used a small chopped onion instead. It was good. When you make the gravy towards the end, the onions really put it together. Also, I didn't have any cornstarch. I used all-purpose flour and it worked just fine. We used boneless pork chops too, it worked just fine!

Sweet Cottage Cheese and Bananas

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2008
Very quick and easy snack. Tasty too. I'm always trying to find ways to get my toddler twins to eat more fruits and veggies. This recipe worked for sneaking in bananas!

Pork and Potatoes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2007
Be sure to cook the potatoes first. We added mushrooms and bought the creamed soups with herbs in it for additional seasoning.

Runzas II (Bierocks)

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2007
This was delicious. We aren't big on beef at my house, so we used ground turkey instead of beef, and mixed shredded cheese into the meat mixture while it was still warm. Everyone had seconds!
