Bev's Orange Chicken

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2010
WOW!!! I didn't expect such a simple recipe to be so tasty!! As per other's suggestions, I doubled the o.j. and soy sauce and added two chopped scallions. Sine I had the time, I placed the eight chicken thighs and about 2/3 of the marinade in a ziploc bag and placed in fridge for 2 hours. Instead of baking in the oven, I placed it on the rack of my slow cooker/roaster oven on 350 and basted every half hour with the extra marinade.Cooked for about one hour and 20 mins. and served over rice Deelicious! Even better the next day after mixing all leftovers together in same tupperware in frdge overnight. This is a keeper!!!! Thanks, Bev!

Teriyaki Onion Burgers

Reviewed: Oct. 25, 2007
WOW!!!Delicious! Upon others' advice, I marinated the beef for two hours after I added the teriyaki sauce AND minced garlic. Also, I used dried onion soup mix I had on hand instead of the french fried onions-but only about a third of the packet for fear it would be too salty. Also, I fried them in a skillet instead of griling. Talk about juicy!! Tasty, easy and delicious!!!

Scalloped Potatoes and Pork Chops

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2007
This recipe is delicious!!! I made this without the pork chops. I took other reviewers' advice and cut the potatoes very thin and then microwaved them for 10 mins. I also mixed the potatoes, onions and cheese in a bowl and then put it all in baking dish. After adding the milk and 3 pats of butter I then spirnkled it with garlic powder and a little salt. I covered with foil for the first forty minutes and after 1 hour it was perfect!! My whole family loved it! Will definitely make again. Thanks!
