I have been cooking since I was about 8-9 years old. My mother signed me up for a Gourmet for Kids cooking class in Wooster, Ohio when I was about 10 and I've been cooking and baking ever since.
My favorite things to cook
I love to BBQ, Smoke and figure out new ways to cook meat. I like to experiment on my own with flavors and try new recipes. I also love to bake, although I don't bake a much due to my control issues over sweets.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother and Grandmother's stuffing..very simple and perfect. Haystacks, Sloppy Joes...simple, comfort food is the way I cook. My favorite audience are my kids.

Beef Brisket in the smoker...tasted like LEATHER...ugh.
