Yum! These were delicious sprinkled with kosher salt, garlic powder and paprika. Made a good sauce of ketchup/mayo/lime juice to dip, muy delicioso!

Chicken Kabobs Mexicana

Filet Mignon with Rich Balsamic Glaze

I can only rate the glaze, because I cooked the steak the way I always do (after letting it come to room temp, I sprinkled with salt and pepper and broiled in the oven). The glaze was really good but not as great as most of the reveiwers thought. I love the balsamic/red wine combo so I think I was hoping for better. 4 out of 5 stars is pretty good though, which the glaze was- pretty good and something I might make again. Thank you!

Broiled Tilapia Parmesan

I followed this recipe verbatim- I don't know if it's fair of me to rate this because I do not like fish, but I've been trying very hard to incorporate it into my diet. That being said, the cheese mixture was very tasty, well-balanced, and had a nice tang that went very well with the tilapia. I only had 3 bites, too weirded out at the thought of eating fish, but that's my issue, not the recipe's ;) Everyone else (normal peoeple who can eat fish) enjoyed, and agreed that it deserved 4 out of 5 stars (my boyfriend prefers fried tilapia, my sister likes tilapia simple, with just lemon/butter, etc.) Thank you for providing me with this recipe to try!

Caroline's Chocolate Fudge Frosting

WOW! This is delicious, fudgey, decadent frosting! A cinch to make, and also spread very easily, making decorating the cake a breeze! I followed the reviewers' two main tips- 4 oz of chocolate and 1/2 cup milk- and thought that the taste and consistency were perfect! As written, this recipe yields the right amount for one cake, but when I make a double layer cake, I find that one-and-a-halfing the recipe is necessary. Thanks so much i love this frosting!! :)

One Bowl Chocolate Cake III

This cake was delicious, and not really any more work than a cake mix. I followed the recipe as written, it yielded two 8-inch cakes...I will save this to use as my go-to chocolate cake recipe, thanks!

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

I have tried a few different alfredo recipes, and this is my favorite! I hate cream cheese and never go near it, but all the reviews convinced me to try this recipe...I did not taste any cream cheese! :) I used a pinch more parm cheese than called for, and 2 cloves garlic, minced, in lieu of the garlic powder. I'll make this again, thanks!

Bountiful Garden Zucchini Enchiladas

How does this recipe not have more reviews??! I love it! I have made this several times, tweaking here and there, my favorite variation is to use black beans, corn, and bell peppers in lieu of the zucchini (I do not have a garden and it's more expensive to buy at the market than the others). But I have made this as written as well- delicious!! Thank you Annabelle for a favorite :)

Italian Sausage, Peppers, and Onions

This was a pretty quick and easy meal to make, I used red wine instead of white (already had a bottle open). I thought the onion-to-pepper ratio was a bit off, I will use more pepper next time, but I don't eat meat, so I asked my boyfriend for the rating based on taste- 5 stars!! :) thanks!

WOW!! Made this as the app but deserves leading role, middle of the table treatment! My only tip is extremely obvious: this will be as good as the ingredients you use, so go for the freshest tomatoes, mozzarella and basil you can get! Thanks :)

Easy Pesto

I LOVE THIS!! My only 2 strays from the recipe were that I toasted the almonds stove-top and added a bit of shaved parmesan cheese to the food processor. The whole thing takes 10 minutes! *FYI this recipe makes enough for 1 lb of pasta. Thanks Rebecca for a keeper!!

Mediterranean Linguine with Basil and Tomatoes

Mmmmm this was delicious! I made it for a dinner party and all 9 guests raved! One guest sensitive to spicy food thought it had a bit too much kick, though that is a personal opinion as most of us (myself included) thought it was perfect. Do not scimp on ingredients- use fresh basil leaves not dried! I followed the recipe verbatim and thought it was a great balance of flavors. Thanks so much!

Guacamole

This guac is the new love of my life! It reminded me of the stellar table-side guacamole featured at the best Mexican restaurants here in NYC. Next time I make it I will cut the amount of salt in half (at least), but I wouldn't change anything else! This is a 10-star recipe! Muy delicioso- gracias :)

Strawberry Coffee Cake

Wow this was pretty tasty! I resisted the urge to make little changes here and there (sub some brown sugar for white, add a splash of vanilla to the wet ingredients..) and was happy with the results, as were my guests. A refreshing dessert, not too heavy, so perfect for brunch. Thanks! :)
