Pumpkin Roll II

The first one I made was good, but I added a tsp of pumpkin pie spice to the next one. It gave it a little more flavor. It's now my "go to" recipe for a pumpkin roll.

Buttermilk Honey Wheat Bread

My new favorite. My trusty, fall back, never fail bread recipe. I love trying new recipes, but this one has made it's mark. This is the one I use when company is coming, have to have bread and cannot afford to chance a new recipe not turning out. Everyone loves it.

Caramel Apples

I have tried a different Caramel Apple recipe every year for the last few years. This is the first one that I have used that I would take them anywhere. While they do not look professional, they look good. Good consistency. The first few had air bubbles. That was my fault, let it cool a bit. Also, Thanks for the tip on the 4 cup measuring cup. Works great! A tip for all: read the reviews. They can give you lots of helpful tips and tricks.

Vanilla Milkshake I

I have used this recipe before, but this time I changed it. Right now I cannot have anything that I cannot get through a straw. Getting nutrients is tough. I used 1/2 fat, 1/2 cal., 1/2 carb vanilla ice cream, a vanilla protein shake instead of milk, vanilla, and added peanut butter. GREAT! A yummy peanut butter shake with nutritional value. Next time I may add chocolate syrup.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I

I brought this to a family gathering and it got mixed reviews. People either loved it or they hated it. I do plan on making it again, but with only half the vinegar. I think it would go over a lot better.

Banana Oatmeal Cookies I

My whole family loved these. I used bananas that were about to go bad, no waste. :) I also replaced half of the butter with applesauce. No reason to feel bad about giving my kids cookies!
