Candied Chicken Breasts

Fabulous! I made this for dinner tonight. Basically I followed the recipe to a "T". We are only two folks so I scaled it down to 4 servings. I added a bit of seseme oil to the rice when I served it. I added frozen petite peas to the rice..it was wonderful!

Chili I

Reviewed: Jul. 3, 2001
I made this chili this morning and serverd it to friends for lunch. I knew when I got all the ingredients together and had a quick taste, that this was the Chili for me! I could'nt stop tasting it as it progressed to the finish line. I did not use the hot chilies, used just ground beef, and added 1/8th of a cup of brown sugar, and used only 1 can of beans. I did however add 1/2 cup of diced red, green, and yellow peppers, and a dash of hot crushed peppers to the pot. I used a German double bock beer, Salvator, and Starbucks Colombian decaf coffee. I garnished it with a dollop of sour cream and chopped green onions. I enjoyed eating this chili because of the complex layer of flavours that I could detect. This is the best chili I have ever made. I can hardly wait to taste it tomorrow after the flavours have melded. My friend Tim was here for lunch. His comments were "we should name this chili, Colombian Chilie, have it Uruguay!" We had a hoot over that!
