Slow Cooker Beef Pot Roast

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2014
This is the second meal for this fine recipe. Lacking some of the ingredients , and to far to run to the store, i did some substitution. I used beef stock instead of chicken and tomato sauce instead of paste, increased the flour to thicken.

Herb Crusted Chuck Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 4, 2013
The meat was very juicy. I used what ingredients I had on hand for the rub- no savory. Also had fresh thyme and rosemary available so placed those in the cast iron skillet. Last added 45 minutes to the time, must be mt oven, and had carrots, celery and onion on hand so placed them in the last 45 minutes.I didn't have the sour cream etc so served without, It was a hit with my husband and as leftovers was even better, I did cover it with foil while baking too!!

Apple Pecan Cobbler

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2012
I was given some apples for baking and wanted something quick and lite. So I actually halved ingredients that I could as I didn't have enough for the 8 servings. It was great. Topped it with whip cream! I added a 1/2 T of vanilla..just a twist. Thanks for the recipe. I used a 1/1/2 qt baking dish. And baked in convection for 45 min.

Herb Rubbed Sirloin Tip Roast

Reviewed: Feb. 28, 2012
I did a little modification as I used my CONVECTION roast. I had about a 1/2 cup of red wine left so I marinated the meat while I got other items together. I used white pepper instead of cayenne as that is what I had on hand. Used a garlic rub first. Then then olive oil and herbs. I did not cover it as convection suggestions in the owners manual says not to. So I placed in a shallow pan on a rack. It turned out GREAT. Thanks so much for all the comments it helped me get creative and try the convection roasting. My oven did the calculation for lower temp and I kept the time to 1 1/2 hr for a 3#sirloin tip. Very juicy.

Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2007
I used the original ingredients as I didn't read all of the reviews. Went and bought a mini crock pot as I thought the warmer the better. It worked great warming it up until we all started eating at the covered dish Christmas Party. At the end there was a good bit left but since it sat, it congealed, so out it went. But all that ate liked it!
