The cake balls with a swirl design had a cherry cake and white icing filling, while the criss-crossed cake balls had a devil's food cake and vanilla icing filling.
A big hit and very, very good. Although I recommend making them smaller then the ones in this picture (which are around golf-ball sized) they were a bit messy.
