Slow Cooker Tapioca Pudding

Reviewed: May 30, 2008
I will give this 5 stars.I soaked the tapioca pearls over night in the milk. Next morning I added the sugar and eggs. Because I soaked the tapioca it did not need to cook as long. I cooked on high for 1 hour stirring every 20 to 30 minutes to make sure the egg was well blended. Then I turned it down to low and cooked the rest of the way until thick and creamy. I also added 1 tsp of vanilla extract at the end when the tapioca was done. Put it in serving bowls sprinkled a little nutmeg and we were ready to go. Super easy recipes. A keeper and will make again.

Kettle Corn

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2008
I had never made this before. I used my heavy duty pressure cooker pan to pop the corn in. It came out right the first time. My husband had me make another batch. Getting the oil hot is the key and shaking the pan so the sugar won't stick and burn. This is one I will make all the time. Boy I bet I saved tons of money by making it myself. And it was so easy.

Very good. A keeper. Easy to make.I used my cast iron griddle to make the crepes and they turn out very nice. I placed wax paper between each one until I was done with them all. Then I put the baked bananas in them. both worked together well.

Best Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Feb. 22, 2008
These where very good cookies. I would not change a thing. These are quite sweet so these will be made only once in awhile. The dough freezes well. So from the freezer to the oven is great when you what some cookies quick.I just put the dough on some plastic wrap formed them then froze them then after frozen I put them in plastic bag for future use.

I used a deer roast instead of beef. with this recipe you could not tell it was deer meat. Very tasty. My guys liked it and requested more. I let it cook longer in the crock pot. Then I transfered it to the oven for the last 1 hour. I am very please with the great taste.

I liked this recipe because the little amount of sugar needed to sweeten it. It turned out moist and with a good flavor. This will make a great breakfast muffin. The only thing I changed was to put half wheat and half white flour. I will make it again.

Easy Sour Cream Cheesecake

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2007
I made this for my family. I put graham cracker crust instead. It was super easy. Just a hint for warming up the cream cheese to make it soft to work with .Take the cream cheese out of the boxes leave the foil on and put in hot water for about 10 minutes. Make sure the foil is sealed. It warms it up then you don't have to wait to get to room temperature it is done in a matter of minutes. I do the same with eggs as well. I leave the eggs in the shell in warm water for about 10 minutes and it does the job. I will keep this recipe for sure.

This was a great way to prepare a turkey. I used my sons 5 gallon stainless steel brew pot that he uses when he makes beer.It was just the right size for my 18 pound turkey. The turkey came out moist and had a great flavor. This is the way I am going to continue to do it from now on.

I am not a fish person but this recipe was the best I have ever had. I marinated the fish over night then just grilled it on my grilling machine for 7 minutes and it turned out wonderful. You could use this recipe on chicken and get great results from it.
