Dawn's Candied Walnuts
Easy, and delicious. Everyone that has tried them, have loved them. I have a lot of clients, and I sample out some things during the holidays to get an idea of what I want to put in a gift basket for them for Christmas. So far it has been an excited "two-thumbs-up!!!" from everyone that has tried them. This is a VERY easy recipe to follow, and it yields a super yummy treat. DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP!!!

Double Chocolate Pie
My mother's long lost recipe!!! My mother always made the best chocolate pies for the holidays. She passed away 14 years ago, and I have been searching high and low for something that would come even close. When I ate the first bite of this...I almost wept. It's my mother's pie. I can't believe it. I am so thankful to Corwynn Darkholme for posting this recipe. I am thankful to all those that tried it before me, and rated it the way they did. I was careful to use the name brands that my mother always used in her kitchen....and this Christmas we will be sharing her pies again with the whole family. By the way, my mother got her recipe from my great grandmother....so it's truly a bitter sweet sense memory treat! If you love chocolate...DO NOT PASS THIS ONE UP!!!

My mother LOVED Divinity. She has been gone 14 years now, and I wanted to do something for my family in celebration of her for the holidays this year. Let me begin by saying that there should be a law, forbidding people like me from ever entering a kitchen to prepare food. I am a complete disaster, and I'm leaving it at that. I tried this recipe, EXPECTING TO FAIL. Sorry...I am VERY self-confident in every aspect of my life....but not cooking/baking. I will keep it simple. I MADE DIVINITY!!! It worked PERFECTLY for me. Everyone in my family loved it, and I know if my mother had been here she would have loved it too. I made it EXACTLY as the directions said....and it came out perfectly. I didn't 48, according to what this recipe said the yield would be...but I ended up with 12 BIG HONKIN' DELICIOUS PIECES of Divinity. I will worry about portion sizes next time.
