About this Cook
My favorite thing is to watch the expressions on peoples faces when they put that first bite in their mouth and you know their mouth is going WOW.
My favorite things to cook
I love to cook appetizers, stuffed mushrooms or steak on a stick.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Oyser Stuffing and our Macaroni and Cheese is just the best.
My cooking triumphs
The family says it my French Onion Soup and my Seafood Salad
My cooking tragedies
the second deep fried turkey, the first one I did was wonderful, fried it for 45 minutes and it was done perfectly. The second time one of my relatives kept saying it can't be done yet and everytime I would try to take it out they would say it can't be done yet. We cooked it for 1 hour and a half. We couldn't even eat it, hard as a rock. Don't ever listen to your relatives.

Strawberry Spinach Salad I
This is the best salad I have had ever. I took the advice of a few of the reviews, I added bacon bits, change to balsomic vinegar, took the sugar to 1/4 cup and for the nuts I used praline pecans, oh my gosh how gooooooood!

Maryellen's Baked Onions
This is an awesome recipe. My family ate every bit of it and said I have to fix it again soon, only next time make more. I did fix it again and put my steaks in it to marinate and they were fantastic.
