Soft Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 7, 2011
These are one if not the best Peanut Butter Cookies I have ever made and I have been baking for years. I made 2 double batches and the first batch I made was taste tested by the whole family and they all gave me a thumbs up. When I made my second batch I had realized that I had left out the brown sugar in the first batch and I must say the cookies taste almost the same. It's nice to know this recipe is forgiving like that. Needless to say both double batches came out simply wonderful. This recipe will be put in my recipe box for me to use for years to come and to put smiley faces on my friends and family. Knowing that I am baking the tastiest morsels I cam make. Thank you for such a wonderful recipe.

I followed this recipe to a T and they came out bland, flat as a pancake and I will pass on ever making this again.

Raspberry Crumb Cake

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2011
This was a huge hit with my family and friends. I made this with fresh red raspberries picked from my bushes. I did double the batch and it came out great. I am keeping this in my recipe box and will use it again and again. A definite winner!

Frank's® Red Hot® Buffalo Chicken Dip

Reviewed: May 28, 2011
This recipe is wonderful. Perfect for anytime. From a party to game day this is just great... We use Tortilla chips for this. Seems to taste better then crackers or veggies. Either way it's great and will never use any other recipe...I get raves every time..Oh and use Frank's Red Hot sauce if you can find it. It does make a difference.

Creamy Rice Pudding

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2011
This is the first time I have ever made Rice Pudding and my husband loves it. This is an A+ in my book. This is my go to recipe for now on. It is simple and takes really no time at all. One tip just watch your rice so it doesn't burn. Thanks for a great recipe..

Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 3, 2010
This is a really simple recipe and it is sooo delish! This is going into my recipe box for good. I just want to remind everyone that all apple pie is runny if cut into to soon. In this house we can never wait but once it sets it sets. Just a reminder. Thanks for this wonderful recipe. It's a keeper!

Raspberry Pie III

Reviewed: Sep. 21, 2010
This is a very good recipe. I would just add 1/4 cup more sugar. It was tart for my taste but it could have been the raspberries. I made two pies from our fresh raspberries we picked in our garden and both pies were gone in 2 days...I did omit the half and half because egg does the same thing. I will use this recipe now. It will go into the recipe box.

Cheeseburger Meatloaf

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2010
This meat loaf was very good. I will be making it again. My husband also liked it. I did add some whorshire sauce to this and it add so much great flavor to it. I would just add it to your taste. I did not roll this as I did not have the time I just divided the burger and made a tunnel down the center and then put the other half on top making sure the sides and ends were sealed and it came out great. Yummy! Thanks.

Famous Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2010
I was unhappy with this dish. From the reviews I expected something really great but all I got was a pork chop with ritz crackers on it. Not much flavor. I did follow the recipe to a T and they did come out crisp and juicy but the flavor just isn't there. My husband did not really like them either. Not bad enough to eat but I will not be making this again.

Stuffed Pepper Soup I

Reviewed: Dec. 19, 2009
This soup was very good. Not great but very good.My husband liked it and so did I and I will be making it again. I did what others did and modified it a bit. I added 2 cups of water so it was not so thick, still thick but not as thick, I added 4 cloves of garlic chopped,2 medium onions, and also used Worcestershire sauce instead of soy and only used salt to taste or it will be to salty. I only used about 2 tablespoons of brown sugar also. With these modifications it was very good. As I said I will make again and this will go into my recipe box for many meals to come.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
I made this pie to a tee and to be honest it tasted just like a regular apple pie. Nothing really special about it. I know many will disagree. It has a nice flavor but like I stated just a normal apple pie.

Honey Roasted Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
I was not to crazy for these potatoes as I think more honey needed to be added. The potatoes also I found needed a much longer cooking time as stated in this recipe. I did omit the dry mustard and added a squirt of Dijon mustard instead which worked well. I will make this again but, I will be adding more honey to it.

Aimee's Quick Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2009
This was wonderful. I did omit the teriyaki sauce as it would have been way to salty. I used real bacon that I cooked and crumbled for a much more rich flavor to the dish and it came out great. I would omit the bacon bits and cook the bacon yourself. Otherwise this was great. My husband and I loved it and this will go into my recipe vault for many more dinners to come.
