This recipe is great for what it is, which is a low-calorie, vegan, tasty chocolate treat. However, you certainly will not be deceived into thinking that it is real cream. The tofu, in particular, leaves a bit of an aftertaste. Next time I make it I will use less tofu and an additional banana.

Cranberry Sauce I

This was great. I added a spice sack (cloves, allspice, and broken cinnamon sticks wrapped in cheesecloth) for some extra kick. Everyone at Thanksgiving raved about it!

I found that it was necessary to simmer the sauce quite a bit longer than what the recipe called for in order to reduce the liquid. The final results were delicious.

The Real Mojito

I think that the proportions are a bit off in this recipe -- my guests added quite a bit more limes and sugar to make the pitu palatable. A tip we discovered: if you're getting lazy crushing limes (and who doesn't after drinking a few?), add a tablespoon of lime juice and save some time.

Grilled Lime Cilantro Ahi with Honey Glaze

Tasty tuna recipe. A little difficult to keep the honey from burning, although to be fair I was using a George Forman grill indoors, which may have been the problem. I marinated the tuna for 4 hours and I still could have handled a bit more flavor though.

Delicious! However, if I were to make it again, I would only use 1/2 a jalapeno, since I don't handle spice very well, but it was still delicious.

Chicken Scampi I

I didn't have any white wine, so I left it out bit added 2 tbsp of olive oil to help with the consistency. I also broiled the whole dish, sauce and all. It came out great! My boyfriend, who normally hates chicken, cleared his plate.
