Sloppy Joes II

Loved it! The whole family enjoyed these sloppy joes and will definitely make again. The only things I changed was I added about 1 cup Ketchup and about 3 tsp Mustard. And since we were out of Bell Pepper I just omited it but it still tasted great.

Loved the recipe! It was great. We actually didn't have any lemon juice on hand this evening when I made it but it tasted just great without it. The only changes I made was to add some salt and instead of chopping up a dill pickle I used dill relish. It was delicious, I will definitely make it again!

Lemon Cake with Lemon Filling and Lemon Butter Frosting

I made this cake for a friends birthday this past weekend and everyone loved it. I replaced 1/4 of the milk with the lemon juice like other reviewers had said to give it that lemony taste and to me it still wasn't very lemony. But the whole cake put together with the filling and the icing was perfect. The filling to me is what made the cake! I didn't have any problems with the filling being too runny, it was a nice consistency and I left it in the ice box for about 4-5 hours. I did however double the icing recipe because I like my icing thick when I decorate. And also instead of just putting the filling in between 2 layers I put a ring of icing around the cake tops, to create a barrier so the filling didn't come out, then I put the filling in the middle of the icing ring on every layer. It looked great and tasted fantastic! Overall it was definitely a great cake and something I will definitely use again!

Cream Corn Like No Other

My family and I absolutely loved this recipe! It definitely held up to it's name. My family had never had anything but frozen or canned cream corn and after having this cream corn we'll never go back again. We made this for a family get together and everyone went back for seconds, not a single kernel was left over. I will definitely be making this again!
