Chantal's New York Cheesecake

I have been making this for more than 3 years and I always get rave reviews! I cut down on the sweetness level though. I love how rich it tastes and sooo different from those bought in cafes (which are rather cake-ish than creamcheese-ish). Mine comes out not as pretty as those served in restaurants and cafes but it TASTES WAAAY BETTER. Thank you very much Chantal! :)

Megan's Granola

I used pecans, almonds, sunflower seeds, added some flax seeds. Cranberries and raisins were my dried fruits. I didn't heat the syrup mixture though. Tastes great. :)

Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookies I

Mine comes out crumbly and doesn't go together. I increased the butter and it helped a bit. This tastes awesome though. Great with vanilla ice cream. :)

Beef Bourguignon II

I did this in the oven and it took more time than I had anticipated. I'll use a pressure cooker next time. But this tastes awesome. :) Great with crusty bread :)

Simple Garlic and Basil Pesto

I used a cup of raw almonds and half a cup of sunflower seeds instead of the expensive pine nuts. Toasted 'em then ground 'em. Still spectacular. This recipe is a keeper. :)

Spaghetti Carbonara II

I'm from the Philippines and the carbonara here is usually made of mushroom soup. It's really awful. Then I found this recipe. I feel like an expert after doing this. It tasted so light and creamy! The only change I made was adding sliced mushrooms and mixing the parmesan and eggs before putting it in. And the white wine gave an exquisite touch on it. It's there but not overpowering. This is now my default "carbonara" recipe. :)
