Marshmallow Buttercream Frosting

made as directed except used vanilla instead of almond extract. Turned out great. recipe made too much for two dozen cupcakes! Will make again!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Was wonderful! I used 2 bags of boil-in-a-bag rice which I think equaled 2 cups uncooked. Other than that I made as written, and everyone loved it. It fed eight and there were leftovers, it makes a lot!

Bavarian Strawberry Pie

This rating is for the filling only. I used a traditional crust. The filling was awesome! Everyone at my family's Easter loved it. It does need to be eaten within a daythough or it starts to get runny. Will make again

Lemon Pound Cake II

It was good but not really any different than preparing the mix the traditional way. It wasn't dense like a pound cake, just regular cake density. I will keep looking for a lemon pound cake that uses cake mix as a base

Easy Chicken Enchilada Crescent Bake

Perfect as written. Didn't change a thing! I baked in a 11 x 15 pan and was glad I did. They puffed up nicely and would have been to close together in a 9 x 13. The whole family loved them!

Beer Margaritas

It was good, but I tasted the beer and am not a beer fan. I used a light beer. I also tryed with Mike hard Limeade in place of the beer and it was really good.

Broccoli Cheese Soup III

I would have given 5 stars except I edited the recipe as per suggestions. I used 3 cups of cheese, left out the extra 1/2 cup of water, and used 1/2 cup of potato flakes to thicken because I didn't have any cornstarch. It was fantastic!

Beer Bread I

way too bland as written, no one even finished their 1st slice... and my family love bread! Made a 2nd time with 1/3 cup sugar and added onion, garlic and italian seasoning and was much better. I will keep looking for a better recipe.

No Cook Icing

I did not care for this recipe. I beat this on high for 15 minutes in my kitchen aid mixer w/ the wisk attachment & it never turned into anything but a brown stick mess.

Donut Muffins

These were a hit with the whole family! Great for families with egg allergies! Made exact recipe but I doubled the recipe & made them in a regular size muffin tin (I don't have a mini muffin tin). I baked them for 22 min. They didn't brown on the top but a toothpick came out clean when testing them. Doubling the recipe yeilds 12 regular size muffins. Will make again.

Smooth Sweet Tea

I made this for my Ice tea loving husband. I have NEVER liked hot or cold tea, but I always try it to make sure it is sweet enough for him. I thought I would try this because I always have trouble with my tea getting cloudy. I was SHOCKED when I tasted it & it was really good. I guess adding the baking soda made all the difference in the world. I guess I am now a tea drinker!

Cheese Garlic Biscuits II

These were not good. I make a lot of biscuits for my family & thought I'd try something different. Big mistake. They didn't rise & were very dense... hockey puck like. I did not over mix, that was NOT the problem. I use "baking Powder biscuits II" from this site. They are great with a handful of cheddar & a clove of garlic added to the batter.
