Chocolate Bourbon Pecan Pie

This pie is soooooooooo good! Everyone loved it and people asked to take some extra pices home! I usually don't like chocolate but I can't wait to have this pie again!

Best Green Bean Casserole

Savory Turkey Gravy

I made this gravy for Thanksgiving. With a few additions it was a good time saving alternative ti gravy from giblets. I added more spices and quite a bit of dry white wine - delicious.

Louisiana Crab Dip

I made this dip as an appetizer for company. Everone loved it. I thought it was a little to heavy on the horseradish. Therefore only four stars.

Artichoke & Spinach Dip Restaurant Style

I used this recipe the other day when I was expecting a lot of company. I didn`t make any changes to this recipe for lack of time. I thought this dip was really bland. It turned out very soupy and tasted to much of artichoke. No one else seemed to notice though.

Bacon-Wrapped Scallops

OUT OF THIS WORLD! I didn`t use any spinach and cooked them in a grilling pan - that gives it that nice barbecued look!

Crab Rangoon III

This was O.K.. I didn't have any water chestnuts but it still came out good. The only problem I had when makin these was that the rangoon kept popping during frying. Maybe I closed them to tightly?

This is a great recipe! I used all fresh ingedients and only made a few alterations. I didn`t use chicken stock but added a few more spices for taste. I also used a little bit mor wine. I added the seafood seperately and then let simmer on low heat for a little while so the different flavors could mingle together. I also used cubed swordfish instead of cod.
