Easy Turkey Tetrazzini

Reviewed: Aug. 18, 2014
Very nice! Going with what I had on hand and suggestions from the users....whole wheat rotini, 8 oz. fresh sliced mushrooms sauted with some onions in butter, big can of Progresso cream of mushroom soup, no sour cream. Dumped into 9x13 sprayed pan. Ritz/Chex Mix crushed with butter for the topping. Baked for 25 min. Voila!

Cherry Cobbler I

Reviewed: Aug. 6, 2014
Pretty darn good! Simple, tasty and great looking. Definitely not grandmas, but with the simple ingredients and quick turnover, well worth it. I used less sugar in the syrup as suggested.

Cinnamon Honey Butter

Reviewed: Jul. 23, 2013
Great recipe. I "discovered" a tub of Land O Lakes cinnamon butter at my local grocery store and tried it. Very good. But when I ran out, I thought to look up the recipe on Allrecipes and voila! Sure you may need to tweak it to your liking. I used 1/2 cup butter, 1/3 cup honey, 1/3 cup confectioners sugar and two teaspoons of cinnamon. Tasted and looked just like the store bought with almost the same consistency. I even saved the original tub I bought and reused that to store my new love.

Greek Style Garlic Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2011
This is definately what restaurant style greek chicken tastes like. I followed others suggestions (1/2 cup olive oil, more lemon juice, paprika, oregeno, basil) and it was awesome. Don't overcook though (like I did!)

Zucchini Patties

Reviewed: Aug. 16, 2011
This was an awesome recipe even though mine didn't come out as expected. I basically followed the reciped but sauted minced onions, mushrooms and garlic which was added into the mix. They were very tasty but mine came out a little mushy. All my fault. I have plans for another adventure into this one. Might try deep fried zucchini balls!

Sweet Russian Cabbage Soup

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2010
This was very good. I followed others advice by adding 2 cans of diced tomatoes, 1/4 cup of white vinegar and 1/4 brown sugar. I also added 3 stalks of celery, oregano, pepper flakes and about 8 oz of tomato juice. I started the recipe directions until after the first boil. I then through everything into a crock pot (had to leave for awhile) and let that cook on low for 4 hours. I then added the cabbage (2/3 of big head) and the remaining water, 2 cups of cooked rice and cooked on high for 1 hour. It was great, crunchy cabbage, veggies were done. Next time I will add tomato juice instead of water. I like the tomatoey taste.

I never was much for marinades for steaks but this one was very good. Made it on the grill and it was very tasty.

Spinach Stuffed Chicken Breasts

Reviewed: May 12, 2008
Very good. I only had 3 chicken breasts but made the whole batch of stuffing and REALLY stuffed the breasts. One hour cooking time might be a little much because the chicken was slightly overdone for my taste but then again it depends on the size of the breasts and amount of stuffing. Monitor for desired doneness.
