About this Cook
My favorite things to cook
Everything :) I really enjoy the challenge of trying to make grown-up meals my picky three year old will actually eat.
My cooking tragedies
When I first got married I tried to make chicken noodle soup..not realizing you have to use chicken stock for flavor. Lets just say it come out tasting like exaclty like water..yum. :)

Black Bean Brownies
AMAZING....I was so skeptical but this is really a great recipe. Make sure to drain and rinse your beans before you blend them.Wouldnt change a thing!! This fooled a whole house full of picky boys...

Cranberry Orange Loaf
This was soo good, I used dried cherries that I had sitting in my panty and I totally forgot to add the sugar in, but it was still super yummy and sweet thanks to the dried fruit. Very good recipe

Blackened Salmon Fillets
This is very very very good. I mixed all the seasoning in a small tupperwear bowl and just used as much as I needed for 1 salmon. I didn't use butter just pam spray and it came out just great, very black and yummy. Just like Meemaw used to make back home!!
