My favorite things to cook
I like to cook desserts, and I like anything that takes less than ten minutes to prepare. Things that freeze well are also appreciated. I'm super-busy, so there's a special place in my heart for anything that can save me a little bit of time!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother hardly ever cooked, so I guess our 'traditions' come from the Schwan's, Micehlina's, and Stouffers traditions.
My cooking tragedies
I have quite literally burned soup, on multiple occasions.

Cucumber Melon Salsa
Easy and yummy! I served this with garlic lime chicken, rice, and margaritas and had a tasty date night.

Beer Bread I
Everyone at my church's potluck thought that this was Tastefully Simple's beer bread. I've made about three loaves of it for myself in the past two weeks, because it's great with everything!
