I took the advice of others and used 2 Tbsp. of baking powder instead of 1/4 cup. I also used garlic salt and added some seafood seasoning mix. It was very good and the family really liked it. Personally I tasted a hint of bitterness so I will try using a little less baking powder the next time.

Swedish Nuts II

My brother had "candied pecans" listed as one of his indulgences on his Christmas wish list, so I made a pound of this recipe for him. He was in heaven and wouldn't share any with the rest of his family. Guess he's getting some for his birthday too. I added a half a teaspoon of cinnamon for extra flavor. Be careful, it's easy to eat the whole batch at once.. it's that good.

Cream Corn Like No Other

I never liked creamed corn, then I had some at a friend's wedding with whole kernels in a dairy cream sauce. When I found this recipe, I figured it would be pretty close. It turned out better than I expected. I made some for family at Thanksgiving and there were no leftovers. Thanks for sharing this recipe.

Grammy Burnham's Molasses Cookies

I filled an inexpensive cookie jar with these cookies and gave it to a friend for his birthday. He said these were the best he had ever had, and he claims to be a connoisseur on molasses cookies. Very good recipe.

Chicken Enchilada Soup II

A potluck favorite at work. I shred up a pre-roasted chicken and cut everything else up the night before. Then I bring it all to work and throw it in the crock pot. When lunch time rolls around the office smells wonderful. I go home with an empty crock pot every time.

Fruit Salad in Seconds

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I was never a fan of pot roast until now. I figuered, why not since everyone gave it such high ratings. Now it's a regular on our list of meal plans. Everyone in the family loves it.

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

I made this dish for my 4-year old niece's birthday party and it was a big hit among both kids and adults. The second time I made it, I used extra sharp cheddar and substituted half the milk with cream for a creamier texture. The whole family loves it.
