This was easy! I followed the recipe other that a few adjustments. I did not use whipping cream. I added 1 stick butter, (if not fattening enough!) a diced onion, 1 very large potato chopped in bite size pieces, and a little salt, pepper & parsley. I cooked it on low all through the night to have ready for a school staff appreciation luncheon. Smelled wonderful and took a little sample and it was DELISH! The potatoes helped with the thickening. I will make again soon!

Country Apple Dumplings

Wow! The family thought these were great. I was like what's up with the Mountain Dew...but it was a fantastic recipe. Next time I will trim down my apples (used Lg. Granny Smith apples) and I will toss the apples in sugar/cinnamon mixture before rolling into crescent. I also will try half white, half brown sugar next time with cinnamon.

Chicken Crunch

I have made this several times for my family. To make a one dish meal, I add frozen mixed vegetable. I try to find one with potatoes in it so it will be more like pot pie. YUM!

Creamy Au Gratin Potatoes

I made these a couple of weeks ago and and served with pork chops. The cheese sauce was very simple and easy to make. They were delicious! Will make again. A really family comfort food.

White Brownies

I hate to tweak recipes and I try never to do that here on this site, but I guess we all have things that we make our way. I started with a yellow cake mix. I placed the mix in a bowl and then added 1 cup of white chocolate chips so that they would get coated with the mix. I then added in the brown sugar and mixed well. After reading about other people not being able to spread in to a pan, I thought that most brownie mixes call for oil. So I added 1/3 c. canola oil, then ½ c. water in place of milk and 2 eggs. Once I had the ingredients all mixed together, the consistency was more like brownie batter. My family really enjoyed these and I would make again.

Blueberry Buckle

This was great. I did substitute butter for shortening and had to cook for 45 minutes, but figured that you have to account for the moisture in the berries and everyone oven is different.

Mom's Warm Milk

Okay, I messed up and put in the nutmeg while it was heating. We must not be nutmeg people. I love the taste of it in my cake donuts, but the milk did not go over. I will give it 3 stars since we are just not nutmeg fans.

Famous Butter Chicken

This was really great tasting and easy! My family loved it. I made a few minor adjustments. I added seasoned salt, garlic and onion powder, a dash of red peppers and black pepper to the cracker crumbs.

Cake Balls

WOW! This didn't last in my household. I did chocolate cake with chocolate icing and dipped in chocolate. A chocolate lovers dream come true! I made for X-mas eve and had to remake for New Years Eve! Freezing the formed cake balls help before dipping in melted chocolate!

Garlic Cheddar Chicken

My family loved this dish. The only problem I had was with getting the cheese/bread crumb mixture to stick. So, I sprinkled the part that was left over the chicken before baking. Perhaps I will use more butter next time.

Iced Pumpkin Cookies

Wow! My 3-year old love these, but no one else did. They came out perfectly as described "cakey", but not a lot of taste considering all the spices. Was truly disappointed since picked as an Allrecipe staff favorite and all the rave reviews.
