Hamburgers by Eddie

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2010
Thank you for this recipe, was looking for a way to make burgers more tasty. I did leave out the egg though and added some worcesterishire sauce. They came out flavorful and juicy, did not fall apart at all. This is now my go to recipe anytime we have burgers!

Mashed Sweet Potatoes

Reviewed: Nov. 17, 2010
This recipe was delicious. Didn't really follow the amounts, I just eyeballed them and added what I thought was enough and how my family prefers it. I used pure maple syrup and poured only a bit of a time to taste, I didn't want it to come out to sweet. Also sprinkled some cinnamon. It was perfect, will do again, thanks!

Honeyed Pork Chops

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2010
Use this recipe as a starter, but did a variation of it. Pretty much just mixed together some olive oil, low sodium soy sauce, and honey in a dish. I only used two pork chops so I eye balled amounts and did enough to baste both, also sprinkled some pepper. Then baked in oven for 8 minutes each side, depending on thickness. Came out very juicy and delicious. Used remaining sauce to coat some roasted carrots I made as a side. Will try this again, thanks!

J-Lo's Asian Mojito

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
I don't normally like mojtos, or actually the strong mint flavor, but this recipe caught my eye because it had the sour apple and pineapple juice. We have some mint growing in our garden and thought I would give it a try and it turned out to be very refreshing. I did use a bit less mint, just enough to give it flavor, but not so much where it was over powering. Great summer drink, very enjoyable.

Easy Garlic and Rosemary Chicken

Reviewed: Jul. 25, 2010
Great recipe! We have Rosemary growing in our very first veggie garden and thought it was about time to start using it, since it's getting a bit bushy. I have used (dried) rosemary before on chicken but it's been a while so this was a good simple recipe to go on. Only thing because I was using fresh rosemary and others had said it is strong I didn't use much just in case, it was still flavorful, although next time I will use a bit more. And I did let it marinate in fridge for a few hours. One last thing, I think I will also try adding some chicken broth, it wasn't necessarily dry, but it could of used a bit more moisture. Overall excellent recipe, will definitely do again! :)
