Oyster Stew

Reviewed: Jan. 15, 2011
Not a lot of flavor. i added diced potatoes as well and thought the half and half was a little too rich tasting to me so next time i will use milk like before.

Fried Rice Restaurant Style

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2008
Let me start out by saying my family eats a lot of chinese food! We love it! This was NOT like the resturants! The recipe seemed bland so i took the advice of others and added oyster sauce, green onions and a splash of sesame seed oil. Those gave it a nice taste but still wasn't close to the resturants. My family didn't even finish what was on their plates and i had leftovers. My hubby took sanwiches for lunch the next day for work instead of the rice. Wont make this again.

Szechwan Shrimp

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
This was AWESOME! My entire family loved it! I used fresh shrimp and cooked about 2 minutes before adding the sauce. I also added sesame seeds and broccoli. I tripled the sauce but not the red pepper and still had a bite to it. It was perfect! Will make this again!!!

Wonton Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
My family loved this soup but i wasn't crazy about the filling in the wontons. Was way too many wontons for just 2 cans of broth. Need much more broth. I also cooked the wontons in boiling water then added to broth. Will make this again for family but will try to fing a different filling for wontons.

Egg Drop Soup II

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2008
This was great! My kids loved it! I did however add a few drops of sesame oil and cooked the green onions with the broth. I had to add extra cornstarch. Although it wasn't yellowish like in the resturants, it was still yummy!
