Slow Cooker Macaroni and Cheese I

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2011
After reading the reviews (and one failed attempt) I made the following changes: I only used 2 cups on cheese. (I used colby jack, but I really wish I had used sharp cheddar.) And I cooked it on low for only 2 1/2 hours. I was planing on doing 3 hrs, but when I checked at the 2 1/2hr mark I noticed the bottom got a little brown. Next time I will only plan on 2 hours. Also, I stirred it twice during cooking. It was good, very comparable to the recipe I have that goes in the oven.

Blueberry Muffins I

Reviewed: Jan. 7, 2011
I took other reviewers' advice and increased the sugar to 1 cup, and the blueberries to 1 cup, and added 1 tsp vanilla.. I also coated the blueberries with 1/2 tsp cinnamon. I waited until after the flour, sugar, and baking soda was mixed in, then added the blueberries. I coated the tops with sugar. It still felt like the muffins were missing something, so I think next time I might add another 1/2 tsp cinnamon in with the flour.

The Best Rolled Sugar Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 24, 2010
I have hated every sugar cookie recipe I have ever tried until I made this one. Yummy! I did use 3 cups of sugar and 2 tsps vanilla like other reviewers suggested and rolled it 1/4 inch thick.

Very good! I would give it 5 stars if it didn't have velveeta.

Mushroom Meatloaf

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I LOVE this meatloaf! I'm not a meatloaf fan normally, but this recipe has become one of our favorites. One tip: form the meatloaf in a loaf pan and then slam in into a 9x13 baking dish and remove the loaf pan. The meatloaf will still keep it's loaf shape, but all the fat will go around it and the loaf won't be mushy.

Family Favorite Chicken Lo Mein

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2010
I followed this recipe exactly and found it very soupy. The sauce never thickened. I think 1 1/2 cup broth is way too much. And I agree, too many noodles. It also resembles nothing you would find in a Chinese restaurant, which was what I was looking for.

Corn Chowder

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
Very good! I followed another reviewer's suggestion and pureed about 3 cups of the potatoes after they cooked, then I added a bag of frozen corn. I also added some red pepper flakes to give it kick. Will make again soon!
