Slow-Cooker Pepper Steak
Well, the picture looked delish, but unfortantely, I followed the directions and cooked it in the slow cooker for 8 hrs on low and the meat dried out - it was REALLY dry. I also wish I would have read the reviews and followed others advise. I dont know how to remedy dried out meat, but the meat was so pricey, I dont have the heart to just dump the whole meal in the trash. I also put the green peppers in at the beginning & they are terribly soggy. I will try it again, I suppose...but my recommendation would be NOT to cook this for 8 hrs...even on low.

Mongolian Beef and Spring Onions
This was sooo delish! I was so proud of myself after making this. My first attempt with a WOK! I for some reason have this issue with following directions (lol) so I messed up with the directions a bit, but it still turned out great! I started cooking the 2 teaspoons of oil and garlic in the WOK and let that get hot. In a separate bowl, I mixed the brown sugar, soy sauce, lime juice, Worcester sauce, dry mustard, and water into a bowl. I added the soy sauce mix to the oil and garlic in the WOK and let it get hot again. Then I threw half of the meat in the WOK!! Whoops, that is not what the directions said but it tasted fabulous! I cooked the other half of the meat per the directions, however I liked the coloring, taste and texture of the first batch!! This is a serious keeper! Thank you!!

Barbeque Chicken
THIS WAS THE BEST BARBEQUE CHICKEN I'VE EVER HAD! and I actually messed up a tad bit! Instead of seasoning the chicken with the dry mustand and salt i added it to the sause mix. I added more brown sugar to off set the salt and it was still delicious!! absolutely wonderful! This will be a super keeper! I can't wait to get my left overs at lunch. I did double the sause as suggested by other reviews and that worked out perfectly.
