Calamari

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
I have never cooked calamari before, so maybe I did something wrong, because the dry mixture came off as soon as it hit the pan. -My kids gobble calamari up at the restaurant, but no one in my family liked this

Butter Cream Frosting I

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2010
Very good, I used it for my parents 32nd wedding annivarsary cake. But I wished I would have refrigerated the cake leftovers-it went bad in about 2 day. (I imagine from the eggs)

Old Fashioned Peach Cobbler

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2009
We all loved this cobbler! I made extra crust and covered the top, used 3 ½ lbs. of canned peaches along w/ the syrup, added more corn starch to thicken, ¾ cup sugar, ½ cup of brown sugar, omitted the orange juice, and added 1/4 cup of cinnamon liquor. Used a 9x13 cake pan and cooked for about 40 minutes.

Amazing Pecan Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 25, 2013
I am writing this recipe down for keeps! The only thing I changed was I used vanilla yogurt because I didn't have any sour cream and I doubled the topping and added 1/2 to the middle of the cake before cooking. I also used a bunt pan-it took about an hour to cook.

Hot German Potato Salad III

Reviewed: May 8, 2011
My dad really liked this, but out of the 7 people who ate it, he was the only one! I think its just because the rest of us who had never ate German potato salad before, desided we don't like it. I might not ever try another recipe for this again and just stick to making my regular mustard poptato salad. For those of you that like G. poptato salad, my dad said it tasted just like the last time he ate it at a German resteraunt.

My 3 yr old niece was so happy with herself, because she made her own dinner:-) We used store bought sauce, a slice of provolone cheese, turkey-pepperoni, caned portabella mushrooms, topped w/ low-fat feta cheese. Buttery Soft Pretzels

Reviewed: Jul. 26, 2014
If you are hesitate about putting them in the baking soda bath don't be-it makes all the difference! Be sure to do it before you have the last rise though. I was lazy and used my bread maker for the dough and I used an egg yoke. They turned out very tasty!
