About this Cook
I enjoy collecting and reading cookbooks, and putting together meals for my family. I'm pretty adventurous in the kitchen so you never know what you'll find on the table.
My favorite things to cook
I really enjoy baking and I'd like to learn more about bread and pastry baking.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Chrismas cookie baking day with all the kids in the family, special dinners for birthdays, and trying out new recipes on my dad when I was young, and now on my husband.
My cooking triumphs
Getting my husband to eat meat and fruit together, now he loves my Spicy Raspberry Pork Chops!
My cooking tragedies
Tuna, Velveeta and Rice souffle when I was 8 years old, only my dad would eat it, bless his heart!!

Onesy-Twosy Cookies
This is by far the best peanut butter cookie I've ever made. I found the recipe by asking on the AR Recipe Exchange and as always, you can count on getting the best advice and recommendations there. This recipe is perfect as is, not changes needed.

Old-Fashioned Chocolate Fudge
We loved this fudge, good chocolate flavor and smooth, melt in your mouth consistency.

Chocolate Mocha Liqueur Cake I
This cake was the hit of the party. I added a big handfull of mini chocolate chips to the cake batter and used all Kahula, no vodka, in the cake and glaze. Poured Pro Ganache from this site over it and garnished with drizzles of melted white chocolate. It was beautiful, and tasted like chocolate heaven.
