Wisconsin Native's Beer Cheese Soup

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
The cheese doesn't melt in very well and it has kind of a weird aftertaste. It just doesn't taste like the beer-cheese soup I remember as a child.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
I made this recipe using heavy cream instead of milk (I didn't have any) and I left out the flour. I haven't tasted it yet but it baked up beautifully with no cracks or anything,. I used splenda instead of sugar and swirled in sugar free strawberry topping.

White Chocolate Raspberry Cheesecake

Reviewed: Feb. 18, 2011
This cheesecake is amazing!! So easy and delicious. I baked mine in a water bath to prevent cracking and then covered in a dark chocolate ganache and decorated with white chocolate ribbons and then lined the border with fresh raspberries. This is the best cheesecake recipe I have found.

Granny Kat's Pumpkin Roll

Reviewed: Nov. 7, 2010
The roll is super moist and cracks very easily. Also if you bake with waxed paper the wax will melt into your food. Yuck. You wont be able to taste it but still... I recommend using parchment paper or foil instead.

No Bake Pumpkin Pie I

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
I have to admit I was skeptical but this pie was actually very tasty. It was a little too sweet in my opinion but nonetheless it was a hit with all who tried it.

Garden Veggie Pizza Squares

Reviewed: Oct. 1, 2010
The Ranch dressing mix (I used Hidden Valley) made this way way way to salty. It ruined an otherwise great recipe.

Tim's Green Bean Casserole Extraordinaire

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
Just like what my mom always made when I was growing up. I don't like to crush the corn flakes... they stay crispier that way.

Lori's Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Aug. 29, 2010
I like the original recipe much better. This version is much healthier and it tastes like it. Not a bad recipe for people watching their diets though...

Chocolate Chip Dream

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2010
A little soft and crumbly but maybe thats because I didn't bake it long enough. These were very quick and easy and look gorgeous. These would be beautiful during Christmas time if you tint the coconut green.

White Chip Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: May 5, 2010
I made these cookies with 2/3cup of oil instead of the butter and they turned out great. Slightly crispy outside with a soft and chew inside. These are great made with peanut butter chips as well. Using olive oil in place of butter makes them slightly healthier

No Bake Peanut Butter Pie

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2010
This pie rocks. It is totally quick and simple but at the same time it is a real crowd pleaser. When I make these I add crushed peanut butter cups when I fold in the cool whip. I also fill 12 of the small Keebler individual pie crusts instead of the 9in pans. This way everyone can have their own little dessert. You can also dip a cookie cutter into Hersheys syrup and then lightly press into the top of the pie, this will leave a chocolate outline in the shap of the cookie cutter.

Three Berry Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 15, 2009
This pie turned out very soupy. I used frozen berried so that might be the problem. I did add extra cornstarch to make up for the fact I used frozen berries and it didn't make a difference.

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2009
This recipe is wonderful. I omitted the struessle topping but kept everything else the same. The recipe makes 6 extra large muffins. The come out nicely despite the fact that I don't use liners. I have made these with blueberries, cranberries, and triple berry (a mix of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries). The are all a huge hit.

Jalapeno Popper Spread

Reviewed: May 5, 2009
quick and easy to make and it tastes just like Jalapeño Poppers. I used several fresh peppers in place of the canned. The only down side to this recipe is its looks, it just doesn't look very good, but it does taste good. Use a shallow baking dish for this recipe, so the dip is spread about one inch or so deep.
