Apple Crisp II

Reviewed: Aug. 11, 2011
Very, very, very delicious. This was my first ever crisp/crumble and it was so good. I took the advice of another and added pecans to the topping and it is now an irresistible treat! I also doubled the topping for a 9x12 but personally found it to be way too much. It was twice as much topping to apple and I didn't even use it all. That aside it is lovely and will be made again and again and again.....

Lemon Chicken II

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
So completely wonderful! I am an American girl living in the UK and crave all things American so this recipe was such a blessing. I thought it might be hard to make but it was so simple and absolutely delicious, even if I was in America I would still make this recipe it's that good! A keeper for sure!

Strawberry Milkshake Supreme

Reviewed: Jul. 28, 2011
I found this to be entirely too sweet and I even cut back on the sugar by over half. I also found it to be very runny and more like a thick version of strawberry milk than a milkshake. Thankfully my three girls managed to drink it.

Simple White Cake

Reviewed: Jun. 11, 2011
I just made this cake and have to say the taste was very good. I did like other people said and beat it nearly to death, which helped and add a full TBSP vanilla and extra milk. My only problem is that it didn't rise, it was still moist, light and delicious but a little flat. Otherwise it was perfect. I did use cake flour instead so am thinking that could have been the problem but it made the cake even nicer so I would do it again.

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Apr. 14, 2009
This was a fantastic recipe that is low in fat and yet still creamy and delicious! I did find that the onion was slightly overpowering especially for children, hence the four stars but that is easily fixed. I would recommend this recipe to anyone looking for a lighter version of a classic favorite.

Roasted Easter Ham

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
This was a nice tasting ham, but the sauce is only on the outside of the ham so it isn't a strong flavor, but when you do get a taste it is nice.

Baked Scalloped Potatoes

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2008
Good recipe, I added garlic powder and fresh grated parmesean cheese between the layers, also soaked raw potatoes in cold salt water and partially boiled in chicken broth per another reviewer and it was yummy. First time for my scalloped potatoes for my hubby and he liked. Will make again.

Orange Honey Garlic Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 23, 2007
Fantastic meal! Having to start cooking lowfat foods for health reasons I was concerned but this recipe converted me forever! Not only did I love it but so did my husband and 5 yr old daughter. I only marinated for an hour and that was plenty! Will definately pass this one along!
